Work you'll do
Description: The Tester will participate in the SDCL process for components of a large system implementation by supporting each phase of the SDLC working with their assigned lead or manager. Analysts will prepare for, participate in and take notes for client working sessions (requirements gathering, system design reviews, test preparation, etc). Analysts will own follow up actions with client stakeholders and internal project team members/SMEs. Analysts will answer questions on system design for client stakeholders, developers, testers and other project team members - they will act as the interpreters of system design documentation. Analysts are expected to be able to conduct independent research/analysis of client program, policy and procedural documentation to inform system designs. Analyst are expected to have a strong appetite to learn the clients' business from an operations perspective and will be given opportunities to engage directly with clients.
Review business / software requirements and provide inputs.
Prepare test cases, test scripts and test data.
Execute tests (manual / automated).
Report defects and assist in their understanding.
Analyze test results and track software testing metrics.
Work with a team and collaborate with others to support your functional lead throughout the SDLC process
Review, understand and assess impact of policy documentation on system design

1+ years experience working on an Agile SDLC project
2+ years experience as either a Business Analyst, Tester, PMO Analyst or Management Consultant
Experience or passion for Health and Human Services
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Ability to travel 20 - 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
Program/policy knowledge and experience in one or more of the following: Medicaid, SNAP, TANF, Child Care subsidies, Long Term Supports and Services, Child Support, Child Welfare Housing/Rental Subsidies or Unemployment Assistance
