Deloitte Facilities and Inventory Management Consultant in Falls Church, Virginia

Work you’ll do

We are seeking support to deliver strategic and programmatic support for a client's Facilities and Environmental group as the client navigates major organizational and system transitions. This role will provide dedicated support for the following activities:

  • Support program management of the Real Property, Military Construction, Transportation, Energy, and Facilities Sustainment programs.

  • Support inventory management, tracking, and reporting for above-mentioned programs

  • Design and facilitate strategic workshops

  • Regularly attend and facilitate meeting with clients and their working groups

  • Effectively and efficiently execute on quick turn tasks for client leadership

  • Provide oversight, management, maintenance, and reconciliation of property and inventory management cards; and provide clear and frequent reporting on these activities to the client

  • Develop and deliver facility system trainings

  • Analyze and visualize facility data

  • Develop and execute business process improvement initiatives

  • Ad hoc administrative tasks, as required

Finance & Enterprise Performance

Our Finance & Enterprise Performance team works as a trusted advisor to CFOs, COOs, CIOs, and key executives. We advise, implement and deliver as-a-service solutions, helping our clients develop strategies and capabilities to support enterprise-wide decision-making, improve finance operations, and create impact within their organization.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, finance or other business-related field

  • 3 year of relevant consulting or industry experience in facilities and inventory management or strategic initiatives

  • Ability to obtain and maintain the required Secret Security Clearance for this role

  • Travel up to 25% (While 25% of travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice)

Preferred:

  • Prior professional services or federal consulting experience

  • Prior government facilities or real estate exposure

  • Ability to analyize and interpret facilities data

  • Experience supporting program management activites such as project budget/status oversight
