Work you ll do

  • Influence and drive client collaboration so that the Salesforce CoE is positioned to deliver products and services that enable our clients strategic vision and business objectives.

  • Interact directly with Business leaders and end-users from all levels to understand their functional and technical needs and the underlying business drivers and issues. Anticipate future business / technology needs.

  • Drive the conceptual and detailed design and deployment for Salesforce COE projects, and ensure that solutions directly align with business needs and success criteria.

  • Provide expert knowledge and proficiency for Salesforce products and facilitate the collaborative development of technology strategy, standards, roadmaps, and best practices. Service Cloud, Lightening, Mobile, Wave or Force.com preferred.

  • Effectively communicate the benefits and trade-offs of proposed Salesforce options to clients

  • Lead Technical Design sessions with the development teams, including the creation of class models, sequence diagrams, and detailed design specifications for ensuring architectural solutions result in a coherent systems design

  • Understand implications of configuration and customization decisions and explain risks, technology costs, and benefits to Channel and DAS Leadership.

  • Monitors compliance to standardized procedures and best practices and creates new policies and processes as needed.

  • Lead production troubleshooting and War Room meetings.

  • Advise on the right mix of customized and standardized functionality that can be effectively supported with the Channel s capacity and budget.

  • Continuously motivate the offshore team and promote an unfaltering mission to drive innovation in solution delivery and support.

  • Work with channel leadership to build Salesforce COE eminence and define growth strategy

  • Stay abreast of changes in Salesforce cloud, mobile and Force.com landscapes, and provide guidance around implications to current client instances and DAS long term vendor strategy.

  • Exhibit high level of professional flexibility and facilitate a culture of knowledge sharing and learning from leading practices.

  • Salesforce Project Responsibilities

  • Leads the design, development and delivery aspects of products. Partners with business and technical leaders to deliver, maintain, support enterprise wide business solutions.

  • Ability to soley support new projects and enhancements from start to finish. Includes identifying client requirements and use cases, defining the best approach/option for meeting clients needs, configuring and building the solution, completing test cycles, and deploying final solution.

  • Lead all development aspects of SDLC for Salesforce COE projects in partnership with PMO

  • Ensure all development and maintenance projects are in accordance with channel strategy, and adhere to product and channel vision and product innovation roadmaps.

  • Design and build Force.com applications and extensions using declarative platform capabilities, custom - Apex code, web services APIs, and other relevant development technologies.

  • Manage on-going support processes which include system upgrades, release planning, and the change control process.

  • Monitor adoption reports and dashboards and provide consultation on how to improve user productivity.

  • Offshore Team Oversight

  • Manage daily progress and status of deliverables on projects.

  • Manage both internal teams and offshore vendor teams project delivery, plans, and ensure proper staffing.

  • Ensure that all project resources are focused on the effort to which they are aligned.

  • Closely monitor workload of all employees and offshore vendor resources assigned to project.

  • Promote effective teamwork and spirit of partnership.
