Our team provides services to companies throughout the electronic discovery lifecycle.
Work you'll do
As a Quality Engineer, you will work closely with senior members of QA and verify the effectiveness of quality control activities. You will also document errors detected and results of investigations.
Day to day job responsibilities may include:
Monitor, investigate, and escalate data issues related to eDiscovery
Maintain and perform updates to quality control checklists and risk codes
Perform data throughput checks and reconciliation to verify completeness of deliverables
Generate summary reports to provide quality metrics based on Pass/Fail results in checklists and other test plans
Identify process changes and perform policy updates as well as assisting in documentation control processes
Collaborate with members of QA and test reports, scripts, and quality control tools
Perform other related duties as assigned

Since 2008, Deloitte Risk & Financial Advisory has operated an innovative high-tech facility in Hermitage, TN for e-discovery and computer forensics work. The Electronic Discovery Solutions Center (EDSC) is considered a leader in the industry and continues to increase capacity, quality, and efficiency of Deloitte Risk & Financial Advisory's electronic file processing by utilizing state-of-the-art technologies in a dedicated environment. The EDSC is a 24x7, 365 days a year operation, and we are looking for dedicated individuals to join our practice and help drive the success of the EDSC.
Duties may require being on-call and working outside of normal working hours (weekends and holidays).

Qualifications
Required:
2+ years of experience supporting quality function for a service/product organization
Experience in building and maintaining business relationships and collaboration to drive the culture of quality and strategic initiatives
Intermediate to advance working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications
Proven ability to conduct training related to performing quality control activities
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Ability to travel 10% on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
Preferred:
Understanding of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) and working knowledge of common eDiscovery applications (Relativity, IPRO, Nuix, Law, Concordance)
Basic knowledge of SQL and creating queries to investigate data errors
Experience in statistical sampling methods and providing conclusive summaries and recommendations
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or a similar technical discipline, or comparable industry experience
