Work You ll Do
As a Strategy Summer Scholar, you ll be assigned to one or more client projects and will collaborate with team members to help dynamic, market-leading client organizations tackle their complex business problems and drive tangible results. You ll gain a variety of experiences across industries, disciplines, and geographies, while you develop your business skills. You ll assist in outlining the requirements of clients projects and programs and help make presentations that communicate research and strategy in an easy-to-understand, visually attractive way. Bring your creativity and innovative problem-solving skills to take on a variety of finance, strategy, marketing, and other operations challenges. This person should have strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to solve complex problems and communicate findings. During your internship, you ll broaden your consulting and leadership skills while developing your network of fellow students and Deloitte consultants.
A Strategy Summer Scholar strategizes and delivers market-leading solutions to clients to promote growth and address the evolving needs of their businesses. This consultant enhances competitive positioning, customer relationships and core functions by: innovating and improving processes and experiences; implementing tools, new offerings and data powered advancements; shaping lifecycle activities; and architecting innovative operating models. This individual will help some of the largest and most innovative organizations address their most complex and pressing business challenges.
Our consultants offer insightful recommendations and data-fueled strategies to help our clients address some of their most complex business issues. You will work alongside and learn from cross-functional teams with leaders and peers with varying backgrounds, education, and experiences. We are a diverse and talented team that supports a collaborative culture and delivers value through the application of strategy and process improvement. We tackle our clients strategy, operational, financial management, supply management, innovation, and growth issues and help to enhance their business performance, productivity, and long-term profitability. Junior standing in a full-time academic program with a target graduation date between December 2020 and August 2021
Bachelor s degree in progress in the following or related majors:
oOperations, Supply Chain, Logistics
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Strong academic track record (minimum GPA of 3.5)
Availability to participate full-time for a 10-week internship June to August 2020
Ability to travel 80-100%
