Communication Manager, Client & Market Growth

What you ll do:

Develop and execute internal and external communication for the Client & Market Growth (CMG) organization of Deloitte. Foster relationships with key internal stakeholders to produce clear, consistent and creative communications that meet strategic objectives, while identifying key channels through which to communicate. Manage proposed communication plans and work collaboratively across the team. Help support internal and external messaging platforms for leaders.

As a member of the team, you will support communications for CMG with responsibility for both internal and external communications.

  • Partner with internal stakeholders to clearly define communication requirements and deliver expected results. Work closely with senior team members to ensure accurate and consistent communication plans.

  • Develop and execute comprehensive individual communication strategies for priority internal leaders. Provide support and counsel to high-visibility priority stakeholders for long- and short-term communication strategies. Lead various communications campaigns and implement key communications deliverables.

  • Produce and manage key communication materials for internal stakeholders, leveraging your writing and editing skills. Prioritize strategic communication messages that will be delivered through DeloitteNet/KX, newsletters, email, presentation, and webcasts. Manage the review and approval process, as well as distribution and/or posting.

  • Manage leaders social media programs, responsible for identifying the topics and content that will amplify the leaders position externally and help develop their social following.

  • Collaborate with CMG communication team members, key stakeholders, and the Green Dot Agency on deliverables.

  • Assist with preparation of leaders social media, byline article, and talking points for interviews and speaking engagements.

  • Create detailed briefing books and coordinate media training for spokespeople when required.

  • Communications professional with a minimum of 10 years relevant experience

  • A Bachelor's degree, preferably in Communications, English, Public Relations or Journalism, is required

  • Proven success in developing and executing internal and external communications strategies and communications plans for a large business, preferably in professional services

  • Strong writing, editing, and copyediting skills and previous writing/editing experience in corporate communications, PR, or journalism fields required

  • Experience in successfully managing and delivering sensitive, crisis and executive communications requests in a large-scale corporate environment desired


  • Advanced degree
