Work you'll do

As a Software Asset Management Professional, you are involved with the improvement of our client's IT environments regarding software licenses and contracts. You offer user organizations a timely and cost-effective manner to manage their software assets. After analyzing their deployment, usage and entitlements, you help them improve the financial and contractual aspects of software assets. You support organizations to better cope with their software portfolio.

You have knowledge of the entire chain of IT services and experience as a professional with one or more of the top 100 companies in the US. You not only possess organizational and consulting expertise, but you are also client-oriented, and results focused.

You have knowledge and experience in license and contract management, both the practical, commercial as well as legal aspects of it. You are familiar with the general principles and approach of Software Asset Management, as well as with some of the leading software vendors such as Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, SAP, Micro Focus, SalesForce.com, VMware, Adobe.

    Technology Management Office

The Technology Management Office ensures a smooth, efficient, and fiscally-sound technology operation for ITS. This multi-disciplinary team runs IT as a business by transforming IT finance, reporting project portfolio metrics, quality, deployment, delivery, and adoption, and building the IT workforce of the future.

Qualifications

  • 2-7 years' experience in IT Asset Management, Software License Management, Software Compliance Management or Software Sales

  • Experience in professional services preferred

  • Knowledge of on-premises and cloud-based software licensing for software vendors like Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, SAP, Micro Focus, SalesForce.com, VMware, Adobe

  • Experience working with ILMT, BigFix, SCCM or MEM (Microsoft Endpoint Management), ServiceNow SAM Pro, Flexera, SNOW or Aspera

  • Experience working, managing, or licensing software within cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google, IBM, etc.

  • Desirable knowledge of and experience with the application of IT management and business methods/techniques such as ITIL, ASL, BiSL, ISPL, ISO20000; FFIEC, COBIT5

  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills. Experience managing and working with internal and external stakeholders who have direct and indirect relationships

  • Proficiency with spreadsheets, PowerPoint and calendar management

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

    Preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance, technology or a related field and/or 4+ additional years of directly related professional experience

  • Ability to manage across organizational boundaries, with the goal of understanding drivers and influencers

  • Experience driving measurable improvements in quality, efficiency, and costs

  • Strong relationship and interpersonal skills

  • Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills

  • Strong dispute resolution, and collaboration skills

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $72,000-$121,000.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
