Deloitte s Consumer Industry Center (CIC) introduces differentiating evidence-driven thought leadership to influence industry conversations at scale and to initiate meaningful engagement with clients and prospects. The Center generates distinctive, resonant and relevant studies & points of view. Our approach enables Deloitte to effectively define and shape conversations that matter in the marketplace. CIC thought leadership focuses on key sectors within the consumer industry such as Consumer Products, Retail, Wholesale & Distribution, Travel, Hospitality and Automotive businesses.

We are seeking a manager who will lead end-to-end research capabilities for the Transportation, Hospitality and Services sector within the Consumer Industry. In this role, the successful candidate will partner with the Center Director and Deloitte leadership / key stakeholders to develop yearly strategic research priorities and lead a research agenda that both introduces differentiating evidence-driven thought leadership to influence industry/sector conversations at scale and initiates meaningful engagement with clients and prospects. Successful candidate will be an accomplished storyteller who can use data and research to bring out compelling insights that matter and provide different perspectives on how to architect his/her research.

The position provides opportunities to:

  • Develop signature perspectives on Consumer Industry -related topics;

  • Identify topics that will further Deloitte s brand in the marketplace and lead the end-to-end execution from concept to delivery

  • Develop a personal brand by producing and deploying thought leadership content through the design and execution of high-quality research;

  • Become the resident subject matter expert on all things related to Transportation, Travel, and Hospitality, including Airlines, Hospitality, Cruise, Restaurants, Gaming and Casinos, Online travel distribution, and Ground transportation

  • Represent Deloitte and the Center at various external events and conferences delivering talks and presentations

  • Create a network of practice leaders to collaborate with on new pieces across Deloitte THS sector

  • Support team members and other thought leaders in Deloitte in the design and execution of their initiatives;

  • Work with internal researchers and thought leaders to align Consumer Industry Center-related efforts, and to cultivate relationships with interested practitioners;

  • Cultivate relationships with external researchers and thought leaders;

  • Gain external awareness of and recognition for our perspectives;
