The National PPMD Talent team sets strategy for the PPMD lifecycle and collaborates with all of the Deloitte businesses to develop, assess, and guide the careers of our Partners, Principals and Managing Directors ("PPMDs"), in an objective, unbiased manner for talent-related matters. The PPMD Performance Management team oversees, leads, and collaborates with the businesses/channels and Firm Leadership in the strategic design and execution of the PPMD performance management, peering, and earnings allocation / compensation processes. The team's primary focus is driving fair and equitable processes for PPMDs.

This role will be the business owner of PPMD Talent applications with primary focus on Elevate - in-house performance management system used to manage goals, feedback, assessments, peering and earnings allocations/compensation for PPMDs. This individual will collaborate across business PPMD Talent teams to understand business needs, translate these into requirements and conduct cost/benefit analysis for prioritization of development items with ITS. This individual will also play a key role in governance to liaison across businesses, gain sign-off on requirements from PPMD Talent leadership, and manage change control processes. This role will be responsible for conducting product demos, coordinating system deployments with ITS, and will also own all PPMD technology change management and communications. The manager role will first focus on Elevate and will likely evolve to own all technology applications utilized by PPMD Talent. A high degree of organization, flexibility, and ability to handle ambiguity, changing priorities, and highly confidential / sensitive information will be required.
Position Reports to: PPMD Performance Management Leader
Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Define functional scope for annual development, manage priorities and own the Elevate budget
Liaison with each business to collect requirements, analyze cost/benefit, and set prioritization
Team with ITS to outline and document the technical design of all requirements and get acceptance from the businesses
Participate in product demos to ensure consistency with requirements and provide sign-off
Support user acceptance testing and provide sign-off for deployment
Own end user system documentation and training materials
Provide input to PPMD Performance Management team on end user communications
Work with technology teams on an ongoing basis for constant care and feeding to evolve the system
Define and coordinate approval of change requests
Manage governance of system development with Business and Talent leadership
Serve as first point of contact in the event of critical system support issues, inform PPMD Talent leadership and businesses of impact, and provide updates on resolution from ITS
Required qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required; prior experience with performance management processes/systems and technology implementation projects is a plus
Client service experience and consultative/client-focused mentality with executive demeanor
Strategic thinker with strong project management, organization, analytical, critical-thinking and technical skills, good judgment
Comfortable navigating ambiguity, adapting to emerging priorities and self-managing in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
Deliverable development including requirements gathering, analysis, storyboarding; excellent oral and written communication skills, including executive level presentation skills
Experience with managing governance and change control processes
Strong at multi-tasking and ability to prioritize and follow through
Proven ability to work with highly confidential and sensitive information
Work both independently and collaboratively with a team
Ability to build relationships and collaborate across all levels (e.g., peers, leadership)
Willingness to foster innovation with a creative mindset
Proactive and creative thinker who is willing to contribute ideas
Ability to exercise good judgment/decision making when necessary
Excellent computer skills - MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams and SharePoint

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $86,5425 to $177,470.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
