Work you ll do
A Deloitte Marketing Science & Advanced Analytics Manager/ Specialist Master, is a natural born leader and a data evangelist who is self-motivated and unconventionally curious, especially about how data can be used to inform how we elevate the human experience. You love finding relationships between disparate data sets and clarity in muddied data environments. While you rely on data to prove your point, you love to think creatively to solve problems. You ll work with members of our advertising and marketing technology, data engineering, cloud services, and digital media teams to improve the effectiveness of marketing and advertising efforts across all our of clients assets, and look for opportunities to help our clients recognize the value of customer insights beyond marketing.
Your responsibilities will include:
Tackle challenges and solve complex problems on a daily basis
Extract meaning from data using specialized computer systems to transform, organize, and model data to draw conclusions and identify patterns.
Design, develop, and program methods, processes, and systems to consolidate and analyze structured and unstructured diverse big data sources to generate actionable insights and solutions for our clients.
Develop and code software programs, algorithms, and automated processes to cleanse, integrate, and evaluate large datasets from multiple disparate sources.
Perform audits of clients web analytics implementations and make recommendations to ensure accurate tracking/tagging is in place.
Use qualitative and quantitative sources of data to develop and execute conversion rate optimization strategies and testing plans for our clients across multiple channels including SEO and Customer Acquisition, including path to conversion for cart optimization and abandonment
Develop hypotheses and build and execute A/B or multivariate tests according to the optimization strategy and testing plan.
Identify meaningful insights from large data and metadata sources, and interpret and communicate insights and findings from analysis and experiments to marketing and business stakeholders.
Manage delivery teams to meet client program scope and goals.
Coach staff, create opportunities for staff development, help to make hiring decisions, and drive performance management, recognition, and rewards.
Develop a team structure that facilitates and maximizes individual and team performance.

You ll be an important asset that works cross-functionally across the various groups within Deloitte Digital s Advertising, Marketing, & Commerce group. Bachelor s degree in IT, Computer Science, Statistics or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
10 years experience specializing in advanced data analytics, BI and data products.
5-7 years of marketing science experience, optimizing customer journey through data driven design, user-centered design and user testing in a client-facing role either at a SaaS platform vendor, a consulting firm or an agency, preferably supporting new business/pursuits
5-7 years of Testing and Optimization experience within the digital marketing space, with experience in split testing and digital ad campaign optimization acrossmultiple channels (including search, display/video, social and OTT).
5-7 years of site-side analytics experience, including Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, or Optimizely
Solid grasp of data structures and algorithms.
Ability to translate quantitative analysis into simplified client recommendations
Ability to create data visualizations articulating key findings
Ability to perform analysis in Excel, SQL, Google Biq Query, or Redshift.
Willingness to travel 80% of the time.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Knowledge of online marketing strategies and tactics with experience working with performance and brand advertising teams to manage audiences, derive customer insights, and optimize digital campaigns.
Strong understanding of how advertising, landing pages and conversion rate optimization work together, specifically across verticals like E-commerce, Retail,Finance & Insurance, Health Care & Lifesciences, Automotive, and Travel.
Ability to perform analysis in Google Ads Data Hub or Amazon Marketing Cloud.
Strong background in probability and statistics.
Demonstrated experience with test design and experiment planning.
Ability to think creatively and strategically.
Strong project management skills.
Ability to streamline information for varied audiences, including executive leadership.
