Lead Analyst, Finance Business Partner - Consulting

Role Description

The Business Planning & Analysis (BP&A) Business Partner organizations provide specialized finance-related services in support of the business leaders of the firm.

The Planning & Analytics Finance Business Partner will support the Consulting business in meeting the planning demands and needs of the Business. Key responsibilities include support of target setting, annual planning, long term planning processes, and other ad hoc planning requests as needed. The candidate for this position must be flexible, highly motivated, and open to change.

Job Responsibilities

In providing finance-related services to the business

  • Explain, present and analyze the financial performance of the business

  • Focus on transforming information into insights and actionable decisions

  • Understand key business drivers which impact actuals, forecast, and plan and provide meaningful and actionable insights, advice, and recommendations to leadership throughout plan processes

  • Own, maintain, and submit plan numbers in Global BPC Planning Tool; provide effective reporting from Global BPC Planning Tool

  • Serve as a connection point between Planning team, Controller team, Consulting Finance Business Partners, and Firm Planning & Forecasting COE throughout the Plan process

  • Provide ongoing communications with Firm Finance to ensure plan requirements are met

  • Develop analytical models to support leadership decision-making

  • Field ad hoc requests from leadership related to planning in a timely manner

  • Support an efficient and effective planning process that produces accurate, achievable plans that align with business s strategic objectives

  • Explain and analyze the business financials

  • Continuously improve BP&A s organizational efficiency and effectiveness by leading internal change initiatives
