Work You ll DoOur practitioners work in integrated project teams on a range of projects covering the entire lifecycle from planning through to design, development and the deployment of solutions. These project teams will often include leaders and specialists from other business and technical disciplines from within the consulting practice and from our clients. As a Flexible Consumption Model Solution Architect Senior Manager,you will bring considerable technical, functional, and product expertise to deliver effective solutions to clients. As a Chief Architect, your main responsibility will be to architect,design and develop end-to-end solution to enable complex subscription models. You will interact daily with key business and IT executives and lead multiple teams in various strategy and implementation activities Responsibilities will include:Client Management: Manage day to day interactions with executive clients and sponsorsPlanning & Delivery Management: Lead engagement planning and budgeting; mobilize and manage engagement teams; define deliverable structure and content; facilitate buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels at the client; direct on-time, quality delivery of work; manage engagement economics; manage engagement riskBusiness Development: Develop and maintain contact with top decision makers at key clients; organize and lead pursuit teams; participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process; contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategiesPeople Development: Perform role of counselor and coach; provide input and guidance into the staffing process; actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities; provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local officesEminence Development: Develop practical solutions and methodologies; develop "thoughtware" and "point-of-view" documents; participate in public speaking events; get published in industry periodicals The TeamWith a full range of capabilities, we work with clients through the entire transformation, from inception and design through execution and operation. QualificationsRequired:10 years of relevant technology consulting or industry experience as a Solution Architect delivering moderate to complex platform, ERP, subscription billing and revenue management solutionsExtensive experience in leading Lead-To-Cash architecture assessment and developing a roadmap based on business strategyMust have experience leading multiple complex full-cycle business transformations including leading clients and consulting staff through end-to-end solution architecture design and implementationExperience in designing solution blueprints for one or more of key solution stacks Oracle BRM, SAP Hybris, Amdocs, Ericsson, Aria Systems, Zuora, and GoTransverseKnowledge of major Enterprise Architecture frameworks e.g., TOGAF, DoDAFKnowledge and application of key architecture governance models, assessment methodology, underlying tools, and supporting processes (e.g. architecture approval, architecture change control, architecture's role in project and standards oversight).Review functional and technical team deliverables for compliance with architecture standards, guidelines and leverages leading practicesExperience in business requirements gathering, use cases documentation, business analysis, systems design and integration, user interface design, analytics and implementationMust have experience successfully leading complex technical engagements and teams, throughout the entire project lifecycle, with team sizes ranging from 15-20 resources.Experience in Waterfall and Agile methodologies Experience with selling to C-level executives and other business development activitiesBachelor s Degree or 4 years equivalent professional experience.A willingness to travel 80 - 100% of the time (Monday Thursday/Friday) Preferred: Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint)Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgmentExperience mentoring and coaching othersAn advanced degree in the area of specialization is preferred How you ll growAt Deloitte, our professional development plan focuses on helping people at every level of their career to identify and use their strengths to do their best work every day.
