Work you'll do
Data Lead/Architect
As a Data Lead you will lead a small team through the SDLC process for a component of a large system implementation project. Leads will have the ability to facilitate client discussions in the gather of requirements and design for the system components they would own and be the focal point for a development and testing team as those system components are built and validated. Candidates will demonstrate core consulting and communications skills and have experience with system implementation and the SDLC process Leads will have the opportunity to learn more about our clients' business operations as well as the various health and human services programs we serve.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform project tasks independently and may lead workstreams, directing the efforts of others
Provides coaching to junior staff
Participate in and/or lead the development of deliverable content that meets the needs of the client and contract
Review deliverables for accuracy and quality
Use your prior experience to anticipate client needs and formulate solutions to client issues
Contributes to proposal development
Seek out opportunities for professional growth and expansion off your consulting skills and experiences
Have prior experience or passion for Federal Dept of Labor (DOL) workforce programs including Wagner-Peyser, Workforce Innovation Opportunity Act (WIOA), Trade Programs (TAA/TRA), and Reemployment Services and Eligibility Assessment Grants (RESEA).

The GPS Human Services Transformation offering designs and implements large, complex systems development and transformation projects to Human Service agencies across federal, state, and local government agencies as well as higher education institutions. With end-users, customers, and workers at the center, we collaborate with our clients to deliver quality human services and work to support individuals in need. Some areas that we focus on include Children Services, Eligibility & Enrollment, Child Support Enforcement, and Labor & Workforce Development.
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's degree or 6+ years of relevant industry experience
5+ years experience as either a Data Architect, Data Conversion Lead, Data Specialist, or Management Consultant
1+ years experience working on an Agile SDLC project
1+ years experience working on a Health & Human Services project
Knowledge of DOL Reporting (PIRL, Data validation) and the data structure/validations required
Experience converting legacy State case management systems to modern case management solution
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Ability to travel 20 - 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
Preferred:

Previous Gov't Consulting experience
For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Colorado, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to the State of Colorado and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and delivery model. We would not anticipate that the individual hired into this role would land at or near the top end of the range, but such a decision will be dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the range is $108000 to $144000.
