TASKS
This contract is for transformation support for the USSF Delta 6 Organization and attached Cyber Squadrons. Cyber Operations Squadron Implementation The Activation SME will provide onsite Cyber Operations and Organizational Change Management support as a Cyberspace Squadron (CYS) Activation Subject Matter Expert
Desired Outcome
Integrate cyber operations into space operations for key mission systems as part of the overall Delta 6 initiative for CYS transformation across the USSF enterprise.
64 Cyber Squadron SME Sample Activities • On-site implementation activities to enable the maturity of the 64 CYS to deliver cyber effects to the supported Space Mission Delta
Make recommendations on tailoring of applicable plans and frameworks to optimize 64 CYS cyber effects delivery based on the unique mission, architecture, and threats relative to the supported Space Mission Delta
Provide 64 CYS leadership with stakeholder engagement strategy options and execution through intimate understanding of organization, mission, architecture, and cyber threats to supported Space Mission Delta for integrated defensive cyber operations capabilities on prioritized mission systems
Provide expertise and support the maturity of the 64 CYS with expected personnel turnover and related continuity challenges affecting the 64 CYS transformation
Provide prototyping support to the 64 CYS related to cyber operations people, processes, and technology specific to the assigned Space Mission Delta and its associated Mission, Architecture and Cyber Threat
Security Requirements
The minimum classification is CUI and the highest classification on this task order is SAP/SAR. Access to NIPR/SIPR is required.
Unescorted Access and Escort Privileges. The contractor is authorized for unescorted access to Buckley SFB, CO restricted area and internally controlled areas.
Possess training/certifications commensurate with understanding and communicating Cyberspace Operations/Warfighting concepts of employment and tactical level tasks.
Required Qualifications:
5 years Cyber Security or Cyber Operations within the Department of Defense
Familiar with Joint Doctrine and Military Operations Framework
COMPTIA Security
- Associates Degree or higher
TS/SCI clearance
Preferred Skills:
CISSP or CISM certification
Cybersecurity Background
relationship building, customer service
Command and Control Experience
Cyber Operations experience
This role requires you to be working onsite full-time
