Deloitte Project Coordinator - Sr Admin Assistant - Casey Quirk by Deloitte in Darien, Connecticut

The Project Coordinator is an integral member of Casey Quirk by Deloitte's administrative team, providing administrative support to Partners or Senior Managers and multiple project teams, as well as a variety of other Casey Quirk initiatives. The position is critical in representing Casey Quirk to our clients around the world. This position will be based in our New York office. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Extensive domestic and international calendar scheduling, travel coordination and reconciliation of expense reports

  • Supporting multiple project teams, working with project managers and other non-partners, with calendar scheduling and travel coordination

  • Assisting with multiple client activities, accounting duties and vendor relationships

Work closely with the Office Manager in:

  • Providing phone coverage for Partners and Senior Managers during business hours

  • Maintaining client contact database (CRM)

  • Managing document production

  • Supporting general office maintenance

  • Supporting client conferences/special events

  • Arranging food, beverages and clean-up for internal and client meetings

Skill Requirements :

  • Minimum five years of senior-level administrative experience with client service orientation; undergraduate degree preferred

  • Experience working for a professional services firm with heavy client interaction strongly preferred

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel; ability to learn new databases as needed

  • Self-starter with a professional demeanor, strong attention to detail and excellent judgment

  • Ability to process/prioritize requests and have mechanisms in place for follow-up

  • Proactive communicator and decision maker

  • Ability to multitask and respond to requests independently

  • Constructive and creative approach to solving problems

  • Capacity to be flexible and adapt to a fast-paced environment

  • Strong telephone presence and interpersonal skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proofreading proficiency

  • Strong ethical standards in discussing Casey Quirk s business and client-sensitive information
