Workday HCM Lead

Work you will do As a Sr Workday HCM Consultant you should expect to be client facing and involved in the following:

  • Lead Optimization projects to help clients realize the full potential of Workday.

  • Lead workstreams for single module deployments in Workday HCM (such as Recruiting, Talent and Performance, Comp, Advanced Comp, Payroll, and more)

  • Serve as an advisor to other Workday post-production engagements in accordance with your areas of expertise.

  • Build consensus around business processes and design.

  • Communication of Workday HCM capabilities and limitations

  • Configuration of Workday HCM application

  • Consistent and ongoing interaction with client subject matter experts

The client issues we work with range from the need for a comprehensive HR strategy to determining the need for new and enabling technologies, to streamlining HR operations and transforming the way HR is delivered.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in any pertinent field or industry is required.

  • 5+ years' experience configuring and supporting Workday HCM.

  • 6+ years' of consulting and/or industry experience.

  • Responsible for supporting and leading project tasks. Identifies key drivers of a defined problem and proposes solutions.

  • Experience in Workday HCM in one or more of the following modules: Recruiting, Advanced Compensation, Talent and Performance, Benefits, Payroll, Time Tracking & Absence, Learning

  • Experience serving as a workstream lead on HCM implementations or optimization engagements, from design to deployment.

  • Superior Communication Skills, both written and oral

  • Experience with Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint

  • Must live in a commutable distance (approximately 100-mile radius) to one of the following Delivery locations: Atlanta, GA; Charlotte, NC; Dallas, TX; Gilbert, AZ; Houston, TX; Lake Mary, FL; Mechanicsburg, PA; Philadelphia, PA with the ability to commute to assigned location for the day, without the need for overnight accommodations.

  • Expectation to co-locate in your designated Delivery location up to 30% of the time based on business needs. This may include a maximum of 10% overnight client/project travel.

  • Needs to be able to start in September due to project start.

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

    Preferences:

  • Workday HCM Certification

  • Consulting experience
