PSG is part of National Federal Tax Services (NFTS), a national practice within Deloitte Tax LLP made up of a number of tax service offerings. Each NFTS service offering has been developed and built as a result of a tax planning idea, a marketplace need, or a technological innovation-all with the purpose of delivering results for our clients. Work You'll Do
The Project Management Senior Consultant (PM) will be responsible for maintaining project budgets and schedules, facilitating change requests, managing issues and risks, and providing status reports. In this role, the PM will be reporting to a manager and senior manager for most projects, and will have the opportunity to lead projects over time. The PM will have contact with business users and technology developers and will be responsible for bridging the communication between those teams. The PM will also be expected to spend time learning our proprietary application from both a business and technology perspective, as well as our services and implementation methodologies that will contribute to managing projects effectively.

Responsibilities:
This is a hands-on position with duties including:
Key point of contact for our business team and our technology team, including communication via email, phone and video conferencing
Effectively and regularly communicate project expectations to internal consultants and clients
Identify and track project issues, providing regular status updates until resolved
Serve as an escalation point to team members, facilitating prompt and appropriate responses to identified issues and risks
Exercise professional judgement in managing confidential or sensitive information
Utilizing proven tools and techniques, execute project deliverables in a manner consistent with our clients' business objectives
Documents repeatable methodologies with appropriate tools and templates that can be leveraged for future projects, therefore increasing engagement efficiencies
Qualifications:
Required:
2-4+ years direct work experience in a project management capacity and/or consulting experience
2-4+ Experience in a public accounting firm, consulting firm or other professional services environment
Bachelor's degree in business, technology or related business field of study
One of the following accreditations obtained, in process, or willing/able to obtain:
Licensed CPA in state of practice/primary office if eligible to sit for the CPA
PMP
Ability to travel 30%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
Limited immigration sponsorship may be available

Ability to multitask and manage intake with competing priorities
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).

Experience with proprietary application implementations
Familiarity with Azure DevOps
Familiarity with partnership tax terminology (i.e. Sch K-1, pass-through income/expenses, allocations, state apportionment)
