  • A career in our Working Capital practice, within Financial Advisory Services division, will provide you with the opportunity to help organizations uncover enterprise insights, working capital improvement opportunities and drive business results using proprietary performance improvement methodologies.

  • Using our Working Capital Solutions, data visualization and integrated reporting dashboards, we can deliver agile, highly interactive reporting and analytics that help our clients to more effectively run their business and understand what business questions can be answered and how to unlock the answers.

  • Our Practice works with companies, acquirers and private equity firms, to identify value creation opportunities that exist within companies or a potential acquisition candidate to improve business process performance and release excess cash from working capital.

Work you ll do

  • As a Manager, you ll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Proactively assist in the management of a portfolio of clients, while reporting to Senior Managers and above.

  • Be involved in the financial management of clients.

  • Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients.

  • Contribute to the development of your own and team s technical acumen.

  • Develop strategies to solve complex technical challenges.

  • Assist in the management and delivering of large projects.

  • Train, coach, and supervise staff.

  • Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues.

  • Continue to develop internal relationships and your brand.

  • As a Manager, you will be part of the team helping our clients determine the right deal to do, and then assist them in doing the deal right.

  • You will actively establish, maintain and strengthen internal relationships as well as develop relationships with team members across all Deloitte s practices to service client needs.

  • With guidance from partners, you'll also identify potential business opportunities for Deloitte, with the aim to develop robust and long-term client relationships and networks.

  • As a group leader you will be a member of the team managing and executing projects designed to free up significant cash from working capital.

  • Your job is to directly engage with companies to identify improvement opportunities and help your clients implement changes to their processes and policies to achieve sustainable cash flow improvement.

  • You will work with and engage our client mid-level and executive leader, and work on multiple work-streams across larger engagements.

  • You will lead and drive the daily activities of engagement teams.

Role Summary:

  • Effectively lead and motivate engagement teams in assessing a business' currentbusiness policies, procedures.

  • Identify root causes that result in sub-optimal working capital position.

  • Lead the preparation of detailed transaction level analytics to identify working capital improvement opportunities and recommendations.

  • Develop recommendations to provide management to achieve identified cash flow improvements.

  • Lead and support both the team and client in the implementation journey.

  • Be able to present issues, findings and solutions effectively in both a concise written and oral format.

  • Demonstrate high levels of technical and professional knowledge and quickly assimilate new knowledge.

  • Keep up-to-date with current developments and trends in advisory services capabilities and industry knowledge.

  • Manage client relationships while executing projects, working with key company management and Private Equity stakeholders.

  • Deliver a high degree of client satisfaction with the engagement process and work products sufficient to drive additional and repeated engagements.

  • Work effectively as a team member, sharing responsibility, providing support and coaching, maintaining communication, and updating senior team members on progress.

  • Assist in managing the financial aspects of engagements by organizing staffing, preparation of budgets, tracking of engagement fees and expenses and communicating issues to project leaders.

  • Lead and support business development activities to sell work through development of internal and external client relationship networks.

  • Provide support, guidance and vision in improving and enhancing the team s practice delivery methodology.

  • Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success in consulting-related projects within a professional services environment, emphasizing leading of teams involved in full life-cycle software and/or multi-discipline development, including the following areas:

  • Fostering team commitment to tasks and influence key people inside and outside of the group;

  • Communicating based on the audience (i.e. eliminating technical jargon when needed or deep diving into technical details);

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, building relationships and achieving results without a direct reporting relationship
