Manager, Learning and Development - Vendor Training and Operations

Work you’ll do

Oversee Vendor Training Requests

  • Act as a learning and talent development strategic advisor with internal clients, taking a consultative approach to understanding business needs and designing and delivering effective, innovative and high-quality technical training solutions. Build, manage and leverage positive, collaborative partnerships for a smooth customer experience with both the external vendor and the learner

  • Execute on technical training priorities of the Consulting business (including strategic alliances) using strong organization and project management skills through collaboration with COE members and business leaders and managers

  • Communicate and administer technical training request policies and procedures through our VTR tool to maintain consistency in what technical training is provided to our learners

Financial Allocation of Vendor Training Requests

  • Generate and review monthly analytics of vendor spend, including review of actuals, development of charge backs to US offerings and Global Member Firms, monthly and year end accruals

  • Follow up with key individuals within the Offerings or Global Finance on any variances identified to justify or close gaps

  • Assist Operations Senior Manager in administering Global contracts, including review of Member Firm and US billing, by leveraging strong problem-solving skills to address complex issues; proactively communicating challenges, and solutions

Consulting Development COE Risk Management

  • Support Operations Senior Manager in TPRM and Procurement (US/Global) workflows. Responsible for initiation and coordination of new Vendor approval requests including managing timelines and following up as necessary

  • Able to communicate with external vendors clearly and effectively to assist Risk Management in gathering necessary information

  • Report on status of Procurement and Risk reviews with COE team as well as internal stakeholders including progress, problems and suggested solutions
