Work you'll do

As a Compensation Strategies - Senior Consultant, you will use your knowledge of and experience with HR strategy, capability, and service delivery to optimize business results and customer experience by:• Working closely with a large team to deliver results for your client• Lead and manage teams or workstreams to contribute to the overall project success• Maintaining a hands-on role to ensure deadlines are met and key deliverables are always accurate• Enjoying the opportunity to forge strong relationships with both the client and project team that will contribute to your growth and development

As a Deloitte Consulting Compensation Strategies Senior Consultant in the Reward & Well-Being practice of Deloitte's Human Capital group, you will perform the following job responsibilities:Develop total rewards compensation studies for a variety of clientsSupport the development of base pay and incentive compensation program designModel financial impact of compensation plans in support of compensation plan analysis and designAssist with compensation function process definition and organization structure design projectsSupport the implementation of a new compensation program, policy, or regulationCollaborate with clients to conduct performance metrics studiesPrepare client reports including exhibits and summariesParticipate in broader firm projects including performance management, employee benefits, retirement, healthcare, performance optimization, cash/non-cash reward and recognitionParticipate in marketing initiatives including support on developing compensation work and methodology approaches, writing and supporting proposals and conducting surveysContribute to intellectual eminence and the development of firm viewpoints on a variety of total rewards topics

Qualifications

Required:Bachelor's degree6+ years of compensation experienceAbility to travel up to 50% (While up to 50% travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice) Limited Sponsorship available

Preferred:6+ years of consulting experienceDemonstrated knowledge of compensation functions & processes, with experience in one or more of the following areas: Job Architecture, Compensation program design, compensation functional design, M&A integration supportExperience managing staff and leading small to medium sized teamsStrong client presence with project management, presentation, and facilitation skillsAbility to succeed in team-based or independent environmentsWell-organized with the ability to handle several projects/clients simultaneouslyStrong oral and written communication skillsAbility to create and manage client relationships and develop businessDedicated work ethic with a commitment to client service excellence
