Deloitte Consulting's CHRO Program provides distinctive opportunities and experiences to support HR executives to drive enterprise value through leadership development programs, immersive lab experiences, insight on provocative topics and career transition support. Our goal is to make Deloitte the trusted advisor to our client's HR executives, with a focus on strengthening existing relationships and building new connects with HR executives. Work You'll Do
This CHRO Labs and NextGen Leader would be responsible for overseeing the execution of all CHRO Program Labs and NextGen events. Duties include developing content and go-to-market assets in support of these programs and the Alumni network, as well as collaborating with other Deloitte teams including the Executive Accelerator, communications and marketing teams.
The CHRO Program Labs and NextGen Leader will be responsible for:
Overseeing the execution of all CHRO labs, including the strategic growth plan for this offering
Overseeing the execution of the NextGen Academy, including the strategic growth plan for this offering
Building out the alumni network
Enhancing connections with HR executives by instilling more regular and consistent touchpoints through CHRO Program events
Developing new/updating content for all CHRO labs
Developing relationships with, and providing guidance to, HR executives and Deloitte PPMDs and professionals.
Identifying and resolving potential risks and issues for planned and unplanned projects
Engaging with leadership across Offering Portfolios, Offerings, Industries and Sectors to lead and coordinate efforts related to Deloitte client CIOs and technology executives
Advising teams responsible for CHRO Program experiences including labs, academies, career services and more on content refresh and curriculum development
Devising enablement strategies and approaches to engage account leaders and client CHROs and other CHRO program alumni
Supporting special projects as needed including refresh and development shared content, POVs, collateral, and toolkits
In carrying out these responsibilities, the goal of the CHRO Labs and NextGen leader is to be viewed as:
A trusted advisor to the firm and Deloitte clients to help shape and navigate the priorities of the CHRO and human capital agenda. The CHRO Labs and NextGen leader shall be an extension of the Deloitte CHRO Program and the firm.
In some instances, as a valuable resource to executives in transition, and more importantly, as a trusted ally to these executives, providing data driven perspectives and feedback to support them through the process while preserving and/or strengthening the Deloitte relationship.
A known and valued point of contact for PPMDs to extend their interactions with our clients.
A leader on the CHRO Program and extended team by engaging across the programs various experiences and research to expand their network, brand, engagement and experiences.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Becoming acquainted with the firm's core strategic client base as well as the Lead Client Service and Lead Consulting Partners who serve these clients
Continued development and increased awareness of the evolving role of all HR Executives
Developing a deep understanding of the priorities, challenges, and profile HR leaders across clients
Following all processes relative to maintaining independence with our attest and GPS clients
Partnering closely with other relevant Deloitte programs
Tracking of metrics and insights that are critical to reporting demonstrated impact and value to leadership and the practice on investments in Deloitte
- Within the CHRO Program this role directly reports to the CHRO Program Experiences Director with other reporting and responsibilities to other initiatives as assigned.
8 years of related professional experience
Bachelor's Degree required; industry certifications (e.g., MBA, coaching certification) a plus
Executive presence that will allow the CHRO Labs and NextGen leader to successfully work across the C-suite as well as within Deloitte
Experience in planning, organizing and leading events
Experience in working effectively in a large, matrixed organization
Proven ability to build and maintain relationships
Excellent oral and written communications skills in addition to excellent listening skills
Comfortable working remotely/in a virtual environment
Ability to travel up to 50% (While up to 50% travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice); travel will be related to key events and moments that matter
Consulting Experience (Big 4 preferred)
Ability to engage and communicate effectively
Solid working knowledge of senior HR roles
Deep client service orientation
Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Excel)
