Bank Closing IT Specialist (Infrastructure)
Work you ll do
Provides IT support to the FDIC Bank Closing team onsite at each bank failure.
Responsibilities may include:
Setting up and supporting FDIC equipment including wireless networking equipment, laptops, printers, copiers, scanners, and other devices.
Works with users to troubleshoot issues with systems including accessing required systems, databases, and file shares
Ensures required equipment for each bank closure event is packaged and shipped to each site and tracked and returned when complete
Works with IT Manager and assists with complete tasks on the Bank Closing checklist
Assists in large volume data upload, transformations, and mapping of failed bank institution assets
Supports business process improvement efforts to modernize the end-to-end bank closing and resolution process and underlying systems architecture

Bachelor of Arts (B.A)
Active Public Trust Clearance
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
3 years of experience supporting complex IT infrastructure including various hardware and software components, such as high capacity servers, printer/scanners, imaging systems, optical media devices, web servers and Windows/Mac operating systems.
Experience working on or supporting IT projects in the financial services industry.
Knowledge of financial operations, and procedures involved in entering, modifying and correcting information in a computerized system to assure accuracy.
-Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications: Access, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
