We are seeking experienced and energetic professionals to support our Advisory Operate Deal Management Center of Excellence (COE). Our ideal candidate brings experience with supporting managed services or other recurring revenue offerings, strong adherence to process, initiative and strong decision-making skills along with the interest to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. As a critical member of the team, you will help support the Sales team and the broader Deloitte Advisory team manage the sales cycle of the opportunities in the Operate portfolio.

The Accounting & Internal Controls (A&IC)/Regulatory & Legal Support (R&LS) Deal Manager will work to ensure complete management of the deal lifecycle including tracking ongoing deals, standardizing and governing the use of proposal and contract packages, proactively aligning stakeholder approval processes, and working with the Pricing Desk. The role is a key partner to the entire business development team. In addition, this role will be focused on sales cycle process enhancements and project management.


  • Reports to the Deal Desk Leader

  • Support Advisory Operate Sales and Deloitte Advisory solution leaders and client teams in the A&IC/R&LS Risk portfolio

  • Drive and manage the pursuit process governance and evaluate deals throughout the sales cycle

  • Serve as the primary advisor to the Sales Team on all deal-related matters, advising the team on contract options, and/or value propositioning to help drive deal closures where applicable

  • Responsible for delegating projects to team members when applicable, and reporting status of broader ongoing activities/tasks to MDs.

  • Act as point of escalation for deal-related matters

  • Oversee the Deal Desk channels to ensure responsiveness and aid and advise on complex deal questions and advanced proposal requirements, and handling complex and/or non-standard requests

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 5 - 8 years of related work experience in Deal Desk, Finance, Sales Operations or Revenue Operations

  • Experience in supporting Accounting & Internal Audit and Regulatory & Legal Support sales operations and business development

  • Excellent skills in analytical and presentation tools such as Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Expertise in reporting and deal management functions of a must

  • Experience with Tableau and other business visualization software a plus

  • Proven success managing a Deal Desk/Sales function in the Enterprise SaaS/B2B Industry

  • Proven success partnering with GTM/operations Teams and other cross functional departments

  • Strong experience in Direct and Channel Sales models

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize at times of high volume, schedule flexibility for high-priority tasks

  • Flexibility and ability to adjust on the fly to new demands

  • Strong executive presentation and engagement skills

  • Self-motivated with a highly collaborative style and strong influence skills

  • Experience in the overall managed services sales cycle a plus

  • Experience working in complex, multi-stakeholder organizations, virtual and cross-cultural teams

  • Ability to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
