Help clients across all industries respond to the rapidly shifting world through...
Client Coaching: Hands-on coaching and mentoring of individuals and teams focused on delivery, product management and/or enterprise transformation; developing and facilitating workshops, courses and micro-learning sessions.
Client Consulting & Relationship Management: Managing day-to-day interactions with and providing agile coaching at the team, portfolio, and/or enterprise level; engaging with, advising and influencing senior leaders and C-level executives
Engagement Management: Planning, budgeting and managing large client engagements; advising and coaching engagement teams
Practice Development: Developing practical solutions and advancing agile thinking in the business community; developing "thought-ware" and "point-of-view" documents; participating in the greater agile community through public speaking events, publications, and social media
People Development: Performing the role of counselor and coach to less senior colleagues; providing input and guidance into the staffing process; actively participating in staff recruitment and retention activities; developing agile coaches and practitioners within Deloitte
Business Development: Developing and maintaining contact with high-level decision makers at key clients; organizing and leading pursuit teams; participating in and leading aspects of the proposal development process
Qualifications
Required:
6+ years of professional experience coaching at the team, portfolio, and/or enterprise level
A growth mindset, hunger for continuous learning and a passion for applying principles and practices in new and creative ways
Experience coaching within multiple large-scale delivery projects
Deep working knowledge of Lean and agile principles and practices with the ability to teach/mentor others
Proven training, mentoring, professional coaching and facilitation skills
Excellent presentation and communication skills: both written and verbal
Advanced skills with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel required
Working knowledge of agile and Lean frameworks and tools, Value-Stream Mapping, common agile SDLCs, Value Network Mapping, Specification by Example/Cucumber, etc
Strong problem-solving skills - ability to apply structured thinking in solving problems
Solid understanding of IT organizations and specific challenges they often face
Ability to commit to a potentially high level of travel (80%+)
Preferred:
Hands-on experience developing lean portfolio management and/or product operating models
Professional coaching credentials from one of the following programs:
ACC, PCC, or MCC from the International Coaching Federation ( ICF )
ICE-AC from ICAgile
Experience applying agile values, principles, and practices outside of technology organizations
Strong presence in the local agile community
Consulting experience from a globally recognized consulting firm
SAFe SPC certification
