AMI TOSCA Testing Consultant

As an Enterprise TOSCA Testing Consultant you will bring considerable technical expertise to deliver effective solutions to clients including the following:

• Acting as the integrator between the client and our Deloitte teams

• Helping to create custom testing solutions

At Deloitte Consulting LLP, Deloitte Application Modernization & Innovation consultants leverage the best of innovative technology, people, and delivery approaches to help our clients dream, explore, build, and optimize their future. The AMI practice delivers end-to-end technology solutions to enable and improve our clients' core business operations. AM&I is composed of three different areas- Service Delivery & Business Design, Application Modernization & Migration, and Quality Engineering.

Tosca Testing Consultants should have the following skills and experience:

Basic Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in software automation testing web applications, and or client/server applications

  • 2 + years of TOSCA Experience & Ready API

  • Understanding of testing deliverables within Agile and Scrum methodologies

  • Experience in at least one of the following solutions: Selenium, Cucumber, Eggplant, UFT - Unified Functional Testing, Soap UI, RESTAssured, Webdriver, PostMan, WebdriverIO, Protractor (Angular), Appium, Espresso

  • Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) language fundamentals in Java and/or Python

  • Experience in Jira, SQL, MongoDB

  • Experience in implementing Automation Frameworks including Behavior Driven Design (BDD) or Test-Driven Design (TDD)

  • Ability to create and validate comprehensive testing plans for automation applications

  • Demonstrate project management skills including but not limited to UATs, managing scope creep, and business process design/modeling

  • Ability to create test reports used for system acceptance

  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 50% US-based travel over the course of the year.

In addition, successful Consultants will have the following preferred background:

  • Experience with Digital Asset/Content Management and Governance processes and tools

  • Experience with HTML/CSS and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) fundamentals

  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment

  • Testing Techniques - Understand the various approaches used in testing, including (e.g. desk checking), white-box (logic drive), black-box (requirements driven), load testing, coverage testing, and regression testing.

  • Technical expertise in implementing industry-standard testing methodology and tools

  • Experience implementing testing best practices specific to the test planning and execution processes and gaining buy-in for changes from executives

  • A deep understanding of test planning and delivery challenges
