Work you ll do

As a Project Delivery Specialist in the Cyber Risk group you will:

  • Support Implementation and Operations Management best practices while taking ownership of tasks and/or project workstreams and guiding more junior professionals

  • Support and/or lead workstreams on engagements related but not limited to Operations & Maintenance, Helpdesk Operations, Software and Application Development and Maintenance, Financial Operations, and Project and Acquisition Management

  • Perform analysis and diagnosis of client issues

  • Contribute to deliverables and review the work of others for quality and accuracy

  • Demonstrate an understanding of the client environment and overall project scope

  • Perform Defensive Cyber Operations to protect, detect and respond to cyber threats and attack using SIEM, vulnerability assessment, discovery, infrastructure (firewall, IPS/IDS, proxy, network capture), host based security, penetration testing/external assessment tools, forensics, etc.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Typically has 5 or more years of consulting and/or industry experience

  • Ability to work independently

  • Ability to manage small engagements or work streams and multiple team members with confidence

  • Professional oral and written communication skills

  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with experience exercising mature judgement

  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to maintain the required Secret or TS SCI clearance for this role

  • Require a Defensive Cyber Operations SME with experience engineering cyber defensive capability.

  • Candidate must have a solid understanding of cyber defensive technologies required to protect, detect and respond to cyber threats and attack. Technologies include SIEM, vulnerability assessment, discovery, infrastructure (firewall, IPS/IDS, proxy, network capture), host based security, penetration testing/external assessment tools, forensics, etc..

  • Candidate must have strong communication skills and the ability to engineer and implement computer network defense capability.

  • Minimum IAT level 2 certification, must be certified to IAT3 level within 90 days of start

Preferred:

  • Prior professional services or federal consulting experience

  • Bachelor s Degree

  • Experience with Information Assurance concepts and processes within the Federal government

  • Knowledge of and experience with Federal security regulations, standards, and processes including FISMA, FIPS, NIST, and FedRAMP

  • CISSP and/or CEH certifications
