The Analytics & Cognitive team leverages the power of data, analytics, robotics, science and cognitive technologies to uncover hidden relationships from vast troves of data, generate insights, and inform decision-making. Together with the Strategy practice, our Strategy & Analytics portfolio helps clients transform their business by architecting organizational intelligence programs and differentiated strategies to win in their chosen markets.
Analytics & Cognitive will work with our clients to:
Implement large-scale data ecosystems including data management, governance and the integration of structured and unstructured data to generate insights leveraging cloud-based platforms
Leverage automation, cognitive and science-based techniques to manage data, predict scenarios and prescribe actions
Drive operational efficiency by maintaining their data ecosystems, sourcing analytics expertise and providing As-a-Service offerings for continuous insights and improvements
Work You'll Do
As a Senior Manager, you will lead and deliver large, complex client engagements that identify, design, and implement creative business and technology solutions for large companies. You will contribute to the firm's growth and development in a variety of ways including:
- Lead engagement planning and budgeting; mobilize and manage engagement teams; define deliverable structure and content; facilitate buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels at the client; direct on-time, quality delivery of work products; manage engagement economics; manage engagement risk.
Relationship Management of executive clients and sponsors:
- Participate in Business Development, develop and maintain contact with top decision makers at key clients, organize and lead pursuit teams, participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process, contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies.
Practice Development & Eminence:
- Develop practical solutions and methodologies, develop "thoughtware" and "point- of-view" documents, participate in public speaking events, get published in industry periodicals.
- Perform the role of counselor and coach, provide input and guidance into the staffing process, actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities, provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices.
8+ years of professional experience in a consulting or Consumer industry setting with demonstrable depth of knowledge either serving Retail or Consumer Products consulting clients or serving as an internal consultant in industry. Industry experience is a must.
8+ years of data management consulting or industry experience with master data, metadata, data architecture, data governance, data quality, data modeling, data standards, or data strategy.
Experience with Azure, GCP and/or AWS tools and services.
Must be able to implement complex and practical business solutions for large clients under tight deadlines.
Strong project management experience including budget oversight, staffing project teams and building and maintaining C-level client relationships.
Expertise in leading, managing and delivering complex technology engagements with resources in multiple locations
Experience driving both the sales cycle by taking the lead in framing out client opportunities, and leading the pursuit team to create the proposal content for client discussions.
Demonstrated experience with management and delivery of multiple strategic engagements for large global organization
8+ years of experience with large and complex program leadership, governance, and change enablement
Ability to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

Strong project management and delivery experience, including budget oversight and staffing of project teams including time management.
Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment.
Previous experience mentoring, training, and developing junior members of the team; experience in employee performance reviews.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments.
Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint). Working knowledge and experience of MS Office applications and training development tools.
Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort with both large and small audiences.
