Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Senior Consultant, Strategy & Analytics, Analytics & Cognitive in Chicago, IL and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You ll Do

Leveraging analytics, robotics, and cognitive technologies to uncover hidden relationships from vast troves of data, creating and managing large-scale organizational intelligence, and generating insights that catalyze growth and efficiencies. Synthesizing overall operations strategy by analyzing a wide variety of business solutions. Selecting the most relevant tools/techniques to meet specific client requirements such as business case, pricing, or complex financial analysis and interpreting and reporting on outputs. Participating in setting engagement objectives and scope, developing work plans for components of engagements, coordinating activities between workstreams and identifying changes in scope. Participating in various aspects of the full software development lifecycle for software applications, which may including requirements gathering, application configuration design, business process analysis, scripting, code deployments, enhancement validation, triage of defects and change requests, escalations and urgent issues. Evaluating clients technology needs, developing customized applications and draft technical and functional design documentation. Identifying and mitigating risks in process and technology for client engagements. Defining systems strategy, developing system requirements, designing, prototyping, and testing custom technology solutions, and supporting system implementation. Developing and maintaining project deliverables for clients for all phases of the software development lifecycle to substantially build the system functionalities. Tracking application defects using defect tracking tools; coordinating defect resolution efforts, and documenting resolution details. Performing assessments of existing information systems, and identifying gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities. Interfacing directly with client stakeholders to gather functional and technical requirements, analyzing client requirements, and translating requirements into project designs to deliver solutions that satisfy client needs using Hybrid Agile, CA Agile Central, and JIRA. Tracking and reporting on project and milestone deliverable status to ensure timely project delivery and communication of updates to internal and external stakeholders using CA Agile Central (Rally), JIRA, and MS Project. Coordinating the project responsibilities of cross-functional onshore and offshore team members to ensure efficient completion of project tasks. Supporting business development activities, including proposal development, responses to Requests for Proposals, research and development of in-house frameworks. Researching and developing vendor evaluation matrices to assess functional and technical requirements and performing cost-benefit analysis and drafting recommendations based on performance of each vendor. Driving engagement with project leadership and business and technology partners to establish scope, define activities, communicate requirements, draft strategic plan and manage timelines to ensure delivery and overseeing weekly reporting to leadership and engage in progressive risk and mitigation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Business Administration, any STEM degree or a related field.

  • Two years of experience in the offered position or a position in a related occupation.

  • Must have two years of experience with:

  • Interfacing directly with client stakeholders to gather functional and technical requirements, analyzing client requirements, and translating requirements into project designs to deliver solutions that satisfy client needs using Hybrid Agile, CA Agile Central, and JIRA;

  • Tracking and reporting on project and milestone deliverable status to ensure timely project delivery and communication of updates to internal and external stakeholders using CA Agile Central (Rally), JIRA, and MS Project;

  • Coordinating the project responsibilities of cross-functional onshore and offshore team members to ensure efficient completion of project tasks;

  • Supporting business development activities, including proposal development, responses to Requests for Proposals, research and development of in-house frameworks;

  • Researching and developing vendor evaluation matrices to assess functional and technical requirements and performing cost-benefit analysis and drafting recommendations based on performance of each vendor;

  • 80% travel required.
