Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Senior Consultant, Customer & Marketing, Customer Strategy & Applied Design in Chicago, IL and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.
Work You ll Do
Discover, design, and prototype customer-facing growth strategies and innovation portfolios. Synthesizing overall operations strategy by analyzing a wide variety of business solutions. Selecting the most relevant tools/techniques to meet specific client requirements such as business case, pricing, or complex financial analysis and interpreting and reporting on outputs. Participating in setting engagement objectives and scope, developing work plans for components of engagements, coordinating activities between work streams and identifying changes in scope. Engaging in research and analysis to measure and articulate the value of organizational activities, programs, and investments and providing actionable using methodologies to measure, govern, and evaluate performance. Providing industry insight and analytical support using data mining, pattern matching, data visualization, and predictive modelling tools to produce analysis and algorithms that help businesses make better decisions. Searching and mining large data sets to discover meaningful patterns, trends and relationships to identify success measures and analysis. Creating business case decision models and customer financial models and executing process mapping to optimize clients operational productivity, forecasting, and budgeting processes. Conducting detailed analyses in focused specialty areas to draw conclusions, and developing pertinent and insightful recommendations based on structured frameworks. Creating clear, effective, and detailed deliverable content, including written, visual, and oral deliverables, which are informed by research, analytics, and client meetings. Presenting content that addresses client needs in solutioning sessions to drive toward a decision, and validating that decision with client leadership to drive the company s growth and progress. Organizing and conducting client workshops to gather functional and technical requirements and to map out the existing business processes. Designing the interim and future state architectures, streamlining the business activities and simplifying the overall technical environment. Working with various client product and technical teams to develop customer journey maps and important metrics tied to the performance for each in-store product. Overseeing testing and development phases for custom and packaged applications including the use case design and planning of manual and automation testing. Using Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Project, PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio. Conducting data analysis in MS Excel and MS Access and writing data queries in SQL.
Bachelor s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (any), CIS, MIS or a related field.
Two years of experience as a Senior Consultant, Specialist Senior or a position in a related occupation.
Must have two years of experience with:
Organizing and conducting client workshops to gather functional and technical requirements and to map out the existing business processes;
Designing the interim and future state architectures, streamlining the business activities and simplifying the overall technical environment;
Working with various client product and technical teams to develop customer journey maps and important metrics tied to the performance for each in-store product;
Overseeing testing and development phases for custom and packaged applications including the use case design and planning of manual and automation testing;
Using Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio;
Conducting data analysis in MS Excel and MS Access and writing data queries in SQL.
80% travel required.
