Deloitte s award-winning in-house agency is searching for a proofreader who s meticulous. Obsessed with ridding the world of dangling modifiers, rogue commas, and rampant apostrophe s (see what we did there?). If that s you, then give in to your perfectionist tendencies and send us your (typo-free) resume. You ll proofread materials ranging from in-depth reports on specialized topics to email, web, and print marketing collateral.

What you ll do

  • Proofread all print and web materials for grammar, spelling, usage, and graphical layout in adherence to the Deloitte US style guide and Chicago Manual of Style .

  • Verify accuracy of subject-specific content for consistency with brand standards.

  • Edit print and web copy where needed for grammar, flow, and style.

  • Evaluate proofreading process and workflow for maximum productivity and ensure that deadlines are met without sacrificing accuracy.

  • Prioritize the workload as needed, working closely with copy, design, and operations leads.

  • Follow up with copywriters and designers to clarify issues as they arise.
