Network Engagement and Communication Strategist

Location: Atlanta, GA or Chicago, IL preferred

Would you like to build awareness of Deloitte Platforms across the Networks within the core services practice and lead our internal engagement efforts? Are you interested in leading strategic discussions with stakeholders to cultivate new hybrid offering ideas? Are you interested in collaborating with Network stakeholders to vet early stage hybrid offering concepts for investment?

We are currently seeking a strategic-minded individual who will collaborate with Deloitte Platforms leadership to build awareness and engagement among Consulting s core services practice and help elicit new hybrid offering ideas for the firm.

This position will also contribute to the evaluation of early stage hybrid offering ideas, as part of a broader team, to shape new concepts and develop initial business cases supporting investment.

The Team:

The Ideation team within Deloitte Platforms is responsible for asset portfolio management, idea intake and initial shaping, investment strategy and evaluation, Network stakeholder engagement and management, and providing inputs to investment reporting as needed.

Work You ll Do:

As part of the Deloitte Platforms Ideation team, you will primarily support Network communications and collaboration efforts by defining and executing a comprehensive engagement strategy. The ideal candidate has experience engaging stakeholders at different levels of leadership in a variety of settings, on a wide range of topics, and with a strategic mix of tools and channels. This position will be responsible for ongoing communication on both strategic and operational topics, and ensuring appropriate orchestration with all other Deloitte Platforms messaging. This role will also contribute to ideation, as part of the broader team, assessing and evolving ideas from the Network for future investment.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Assist in the definition of an internal engagement and corresponding communications strategy to build awareness and understanding of Deloitte Platforms, our capabilities, and services.

  • Leverage the engagement strategy to proactively elicit new hybrid offering ideas from the Network in a sustainable way.

  • Clearly define measurable success metrics for Deloitte Platforms engagement strategy; manage the capture, analysis, and development of key insights from these metrics to inform an evolved strategy.

  • Identify creative ways to successfully communicate key messages, both strategic and operational, to varying leadership levels throughout the Network; understand and optimize communication preferences among different audience archetypes.

  • Work with a variety of Deloitte Platforms stakeholders to ensure compelling and consistent messaging, along with orchestrated timing, across all disseminated communications.

  • Collaborate with the broader Ideation team to provide a perspective on a number of assessment criteria to help shape and strengthen new hybrid offering ideas from the Network.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field

  • 2 years of strategic marketing, communications, or stakeholder engagement experience

  • Understanding of various internal marketing channels, tools, and engagement tactics required; ability to configure these different elements into a comprehensive set of optimized activities is a must

  • Exceptionally strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to succinctly tell a clear and compelling story

  • Deep understanding of one or more target sectors, industries, or functional areas (i.e. Consumer Products, Finance, Human Capital, Life Sciences, Healthcare, Supply Chain)

  • Understanding of key principles of corporate innovation, ideation, and design thinking methodology

  • Proven ability to successfully partner with senior internal stakeholders from various parts of the organization and drive successful outcomes cross-functionally

  • Willingness to travel as required (up to 20%)

Preferred Skills:

  • 1-2 years of early-stage technical asset evaluation experience a plus

  • 1 years of experience working in a product environment involving software, analytics, or SaaS products a plus

  • Understanding of technology-based businesses, including business models, technical components of the stack, and modern software development processes a plus

  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a self-starter mentality, the ability to manage competing priorities, and comfort in dealing with ambiguity
