Responsibilities typicalof a manager on one of these projects could include:

Participatein setting engagement objectives and scope Overseework plans for multiple components of an engagement Manageactivities across work streams Provideguidance to junior practitioners as they manage large, confidential and complexdata sets Conductclient interviews and facilitate meetings Developprocess flows identifying challenges and opportunities in business processes Conductdetailed analyses, draw conclusions, and develop pertinent and insightfulrecommendations Design,manage, and apply quality review to deliverable content to reflect theengagement contract Presentfindings and recommendations to client leadership Mentorand develop junior staff

Bachelor s degree from accredited universitywith strong undergraduate academic record 6 years of professional experience in a healthcare provider, health plan, or consulting setting (or 4 years withMBA/MHA/equivalent master degree), which includes 2 years in clinicalinformation systems operations with at least 1 lifecycle implementation ofCerner (prefer Cerner RevenueCycle Cerner Patient Accounting experience) Professional competence in the Microsoft Officesuite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) Superior critical thinking, analytical, andproblem-solving skills Exceptional interpersonal, team-building, andcommunication skills Ability to build consensus and foster change in ambiguoussettings Commitment to personal and professional growth Sense of responsibility to self, team, andclient Outstanding integrity, initiative, creativity,and passion Record of consistent career progression withincreasing levels of responsibility Willingness and ability to travel 80% Must live within commuting distance to one ofDeloitte s consulting offices


Advanced degree in business or healthcare-related field (e.g., MHA, MBA) from a top tier program 2 years of management consulting experience ina health care related field Certification in Epic or Cerner, or training orexperience in other Clinical Information Systems (CIS) Experience working on or leading large-scale CISimplementation initiatives, including development of documentation templates,clinical content, testing scripts, training plans, and implementation plans Experience in clinical workflow redesign Experience leading or managing teams and changeinitiatives (especially in a project management role) Experience with budgetary responsibilitiesrelated to projects or resources
