Work you ll do:
As a Manager on the Deloitte Tax LLP Chief Operating Officer s (COO) team, you will work on projects that effect the short- and long-term operational strategy of the firm. You will work closely with other key members of the COO s team as well as members of the finance, talent, and clients & markets teams to drive high priority operational initiatives. You will be responsible for developing compelling internal reporting and financial presentations that are presented to leadership regarding key operational topics including annual planning, periodic forecasts and results, engagement management and other various operational initiatives.
You will also:
Design, develop, and improve the reporting systems and reporting tools that we use every day.
Organize information and ensure it is accessible and useful.
Conceptualize, write, and edit assets including PowerPoint presentations, articles, web copy, emails, invitations, scripts, and other collateral.
Perform deliverable quality assurance reviews throughout the deliverable lifecycle to ensure accuracy
Maintain responsibility for all aspects of deliverable management including oversight of the deliverable lifecycle and facilitation of deliverable review meetings
7 years of program/project management experience
5 years of reporting and analytics experience
Enjoy interacting with numbers
Proven ability to interact and communicate across a variety of stakeholder groups and present complex information in an easily-understandable format tailored to each audience
Possess a team-oriented approach with the ability to take initiative, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously to meet expectations and deadlines across multiple projects
Able to independently manage workload including knowing when to escalate challenges appropriately
Ability to work in a matrixed organization with a virtual team; experience in large, corporate setting, and/or professional services firm, a plus
Strong executive presence, professional client service manner, and ability to interact with all levels of management
Collaborative working style to build relationships with multiple business communication, marketing, and technology teams
Strong project management, problem-solving, and organizational skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Strong Microsoft Office skills including PowerPoint, and Excel. HTML skills a plus.
Project Management Professional (PMP)
Advanced Excel Certification
Experience with Business Intelligence Reporting Tools/Artificial Intelligence/Natural Language Reporting
Experience with financial reporting
Prior Big 4 experience
