Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Manager, Enterprise Operations, Oracle in Chicago, IL and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.
Work You ll Do
Driving business transformation and on-going operations and maintenance services for the full suite of Oracle software solutions. Managing day to day interactions with executive clients and sponsors. Managing and delivering components of client engagements that identify, design, and implement creative business solutions for large companies. Responsibilities include, managing teams in the identification of business requirements, functional design, process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures. Developing and maintaining contact with top decision makers at key clients; participating and leading aspects of the proposal development process. Contributing to the development of proposal pricing strategies. Performing role of counselor and coach. Actively participating in staff recruitment and retention activities. Providing leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices. Synthesizing overall operations strategy by analyzing a wide variety of business solutions. Selecting the most relevant tools/techniques to meet specific client requirements such as business case, pricing, or complex financial analysis and interpreting and reporting on outputs. Participating in setting engagement objectives and scope, developing work plans for components of engagements, coordinating activities between workstreams and identifying changes in scope. Participating in various aspects of the full software development lifecycle for software applications, which may including requirements gathering, application configuration design, business process analysis, scripting, code deployments, enhancement validation, triage of defects and change requests, escalations and urgent issues. Evaluating clients technology needs, developing customized applications and draft technical and functional design documentation. Identifying and mitigating risks in process and technology for client engagements. Functioning as integrators between business needs and technology solutions, helping to create technology solutions to meet clients business needs. Defining systems strategy, developing system requirements, designing, prototyping, and testing custom technology solutions, and supporting system implementation. Developing dashboard wireframes and design requirements based on discussion with an understanding of technical and visual design considerations. Developing and maintaining project deliverables for clients for all phases of the software development lifecycle to substantially build the system functionalities. Tracking and managing incident work queues to ensure target dates are met and resolutions are delivered according to SLA guidelines. Collaborating with client stakeholders to ensure ITIL processes are established and monitored. Providing client functional support for, implementing and customizing PeopleSoft Financials and Supply Chain Management, including each of the following modules: eProcurement, Purchasing, sProcurement, Strategic Sourcing, Accounts Payables, Supplier Contracts and eSupplier Connection. Analyzing existing client financial and supply chain processes and operations to identify gaps and inefficiencies and develop proposals for process improvement. Providing comprehensive periodic status updates to client and project leadership.
Bachelor s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Engineering (any), Computer Science, Information Technology, MIS, CIS or a related field.
Must have five years of progressively responsible experience in the offered position or a position in a related occupation.
Must have five years of experience with:
Tracking and managing incident work queues to ensure target dates are met and resolutions are delivered according to SLA guidelines;
Collaborating with client stakeholders to ensure ITIL processes are established and monitored;
Providing client functional support for, implementing and cutomizing PeopleSoft Financials and Supply Chain Management, including each of the following modules: eProcurement, Purchasing, sProcurement, Strategic Sourcing, Accounts Payables, Supplier Contracts and eSupplier Connection;
Analyzing existing client financial and supply chain processes and operations to identify gaps and inefficiencies and develop proposals for process improvement;
Providing comprehensive periodic status updates to client and project leadership.
80% travel required.
