Work you'll do
As a Lead Quality Engineer, you will design, develop, and implement quality control and facilitate root cause analysis and process control efforts.
Day to day job responsibilities may include:
Identify key metrics for quality and perform trend analysis
Develop and manage Quality Control (QC) checklists and train junior team members on performing QC testing
Review, update and create test plans for internally developed tools and/or verifying the integrity of 3rd party applications
Practice administrative and physical controls to maintain security and privacy of electronically stored information (ESI)
Develop complex SQL queries and stored procedures as needed to investigate and resolve data issues
Conduct training, prepare presentation materials and the ability to deliver communication related to complex issues to leadership team
Drive process improvement and control to establish standardized workflows
Perform root cause analysis and diagnosis, implement controls, and communicate to leadership teams

The team
Since 2008, Deloitte Risk & Financial Advisory has operated an innovative high-tech facility in Hermitage, TN for e-discovery and computer forensics work. The Electronic Discovery Solutions Center (EDSC) is considered a leader in the industry and continues to increase capacity, quality, and efficiency of Deloitte Risk & Financial Advisory's electronic file processing by utilizing state-of-the-art technologies in a dedicated environment. The EDSC is a 24x7, 365 days a year operation, and we are looking for dedicated individuals to join our Discovery practice and help drive the success of the EDSC.
Duties may require being on-call and working outside of normal working hours (weekends and holidays).

Qualifications
Required:
4+ years of prior experience of supporting quality function for a service/product organization
2+ years of experience analyzing business problems, transactional data, or unstructured data
Intermediate to advanced SQL skills to perform complex queries against large datasets, identify data anomalies, gaps and trends, and perform root cause analysis
Ability to analyze complex problems, think creatively, communicate recommendations, influence change, incorporate best practices, and be able to drive process and structure to an extremely dynamic environment
Intermediate to advance working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications
Experience in handling multiple concurrent activities within a fast paced, highly technical changing environment
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Ability to travel 10% on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
Preferred:
Understanding of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) and working knowledge of common eDiscovery applications (Relativity, IPRO, Nuix, Law, Concordance)
Experience in statistical sampling methods and providing conclusive summaries and recommendations
Thorough knowledge and implementation experience of industry compliance standards and regulations
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or a similar technical discipline, or comparable industry experience
