5G Edge Offering Incubation Manager

Do you like leading strategic discussions to cultivate new offering ideas and substantiate client business challenges, critical buying factors, key value drivers, and competitive advantages?

We are currently seeking a Manager who will collaborate with Deloitte Consulting's Offering Portfolios and Industries to incubate and accelerate the development of our 5G + Edge Emerging Strategic Growth Offering.

Work you'll do

  • Lead our 5G + Edge Nerve Center including opportunity development, marketing, eminence, learning and community outreach.

  • Understand the capabilities of 5G/Future of connectivity and determine the impact on industry verticals \

  • Work with industry leaders to identify business use cases enabled by 5G/Future of Connectivity

  • Help develop industry perspectives on the impact of advanced connectivity

  • Partner with the 5G Offering Incubation Technical team to develop prototypes, proof of concepts and solutions to bring to market

  • Work with our Alliance and Ecosystem teams to identify vendors and partners that will support 5G/Future of Connectivity solutions

    The Team

    Emerging Tech Incubation is an organization within Deloitte Consulting that manages a portfolio of emerging technology investments spanning multiple time horizons. Our mission is to accelerate the next generation of technology-driven Consulting offerings. The 5G Edge Offering, within the Emerging Tech Incubation, will drive the ecosystem, capability and solution development to drive the impact of quantum technologies across all industries and clients we serve.



  • 2+ years of relevant consulting experience

  • 2+ years of experience working in the 5G + Edge computing area

  • Demonstrated experience applying emerging capabilities to transform business models, functions and processes

  • Experience leading a remote/virtual, multi-disciplinary team

  • Demonstrated ability to grow new business relationships with senior (e.g., C-suite) stakeholders

  • Experience building strategic roadmaps, conducting market research, and developing business cases

  • Experience in helping stand up new offerings or capabilities including identifying value creation opportunities and using technology to create competitive advantage

  • Proven track record of consistently achieving quarterly and yearly sales objectives for new business

  • Up to 50% travel required


  • Experience with new product development and hybrid business models and corresponding go-to-market activation
