Discovery Advisory Consultant/Senior Consultant

Our Discovery Advisory professionals assist clients and their legal counsel to proactively and efficiently manage data within the client enterprise in anticipation of commercial investigations and complex litigations. We combine our discovery expertise and analytical skills with advanced computer labs and cutting-edge technology to offer innovative solutions to our clients' complex legal problems.

Work You ll Do

  • Lead key portions of engagements

  • Conduct client interviews and oversee information gathering

  • Implement efficient eDiscovery processes

  • Collaborate with clients, counsel and vendors to develop protocols for more efficient data preservation, collection and review

  • Evaluate and enhance records management policies

  • Analyze and document processes and workflows

  • Apply technical and analytical skills to solve issues

  • Contribute to the compilation of the findings and recommendations

  • Assist Managers with engagement responsibilities

  • Supervise and train associates


  • 2-5 years of hands-on electronic discovery experience required

  • 1 years experience with Information Governance, Information Management, Records Management

  • Experience in 1 or more of the following technologies: eDiscovery Vendor: Exterro, kCura, Recommind, Atlas, StoredIQ, Kazeon, Nuix, Equivio (Microsoft) Records Management: IBM Filenet, EMC Documentum, OpenText, Iron Mountain, HP Autonomy Archive: ZLTI Unified Archive, EMC SourceOne, HP Autonomy, Symantec Enterprise Vault, Bloomberg Vault, Smarsh, Global Relay

  • Proficiency in searching for meaningful patterns, trends, and relationships by sifting through large amounts of data and articulating findings for simplified business understanding.

  • Demonstrated experience in developing and or managing governance models

  • Communicate effectively to all levels of engagement management

  • Balance multiple client projects and other responsibilities

  • Demonstrated ability to provide services involving accounting and business consulting projects; participate in client presentations

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

  • Must be absolutely flexible with the 80% travel requirements of client service projects

  • Professional demeanor and strong communication skills, both written and oral

  • Bachelor Degree


  • Understanding of corporate law department operations

  • Understanding of e-discovery processes and tools

  • Information governance and document retention in the context of e-discovery

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask

  • Ability to describe complex technical concepts and ideas in non-technical terms

  • Ability to provide strategy and operations design and implementation services

  • Experience in professional services firm preferred

  • The ability to describe complex technical concepts and ideas to in non-technical terms
