Work you ll do
This position will be working in a team that is responsible for engineering end user computing solutions from concept to implementation. This role includes defining, building and operating solutions for our end user compute function. The ideal candidate must have a strong interest and capacity to learn new technologies. Designedhardware and software solutions will meet stated requirements and needs, and will focus on the following areas: (1) design management systems that deploy software and patches/updates, deploy imaging systems, manage configurations and policies for desktops/laptops/VMs, deliver security policies, perform data backups, gather data and inventory of assets, and monitor end user experience; (2) create applications/packages/scripts that deliver software or settings for end users and technical staff; and (3) set hardware standards for laptops, desktops and peripherals. This role provides third level support for hardware, software and systems environments and collaborates with other ITS and functional teams in US and global firms.
