While analytics isn't new, we're experiencing a renaissance in the science, technology, and application of business analytics. Many business leaders need to know how best to quickly understand what their analytics can actually deliver.Our InsightStudio team works with clients to discover new insights by transforming data into intuitive, interactive visualizationssuch as maps, charts, and dashboardsthat can help leaders see and explore their data in new ways.We are looking for a Designer to create impactful and dynamic visual interfaces for the next generation of InsightStudio solutions and prototypes.

Work you ll do

We are looking for people who enjoy thinking empathetically and can put themselves in our users shoes to think about business problems from different perspectives. As a Designer, you will work closely with developers, data scientists, and clients to understand their challenges and produce design solutions that help them solve their toughest problems. This will involve the full design process of understanding the problem and crafting acutting-edge design solution that will optimize the user experience. Contributing to the visualization of frameworks, ideas, and new offerings and businesses, you ll participate in the definition of new concepts and the exploratory design development process. The ideal candidate is someone who is comfortable collaborating with clients and various Deloitte team members to translate business requirements and user research into functional design assets, supporting the design needs across client engagements, business development efforts, and internal engagements. This person should have agency or industry experience conducting user / market research, facilitating user experience efforts, or creating user interfaces. A portfolio demonstrating successful execution of UI/UX design, data visualizations, or graphic facilitation across devices, comprehensive understanding of design principles across platforms. Motivated, self-starting attitude and ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment while bringing innovative solutions to clients challenges, and proven ability to translate ambiguous business challenges into actionable design solutions.

A Bachelor s degree/candidate in one of the following disciplines:computer science, graphic/information design, studio art, data visualization, statistics, human-computer interaction, human factors, psychology, or other related field

  • Strong academic track record (preferred GPA of 3.5 or higher)

  • Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch and/or Invision

  • Ability to travel up to 50%
