Workyou ll do
As a Manager in Cyber Data Risk, you will lead diverseteams of professionals to help assess, design and implement solutions for someof today s toughest data risk challenges. You ll build on your foundations ininformation technology, data structures and business to design and implementbusiness-aligned cyber and data risk management programs, processes, andsystems that help clients focus their investments on key information technologyrisks.
In your role as a Manager, you will lead,develop & influence a team of Senior Consultants andConsultants in delivering projects across a variety of topics, includingsuch examples as:
Assessing or developing an organization s cyber anddata risk strategy and posture, as it relates to data assets, technology assets,internal and external data processes and routines, regulatory requirements andcustomer expectations.
Evaluating compliance with government/industry regulationsand standards (e.g., GDPR, CaCPA, NIST, EDM, DAMA)
Advise client in data architecture, implementation,and governance technologies including databases (RDBMS, Hadoop, NoSQL), datagovernance (metadata management, lineage, reference data, business glossary andtaxonomy, stewardship), and data integration (e.g. MDM, ETL, SOA)
Querying and analyzing small and large data sets todiscover patterns and deliver meaningful insights
Performing assessments of client s data management andanalytics capabilities
Understand the client s business and help identifyrisks to the organization s critical data assets
Organize and deliver services on a cross-section ofcomplex projects
Display leadership and business judgment byanticipating client and project needs and developing alternative solutions
Provide coaching, oversight, and support fordelivery teams and staff
Support the development of data science and advancedanalytics services with our clients
Apply experience in analytics, data visualizationand modeling to find solutions for a variety of business and technical problems
Explore promising new technology tools andmaintain/gain technical edge required for projects
Bacheloror Master of Science/Business Administration in a STEM area
Travelup to 80%
Preferredmetro areas: New York, Charlotte, Houston, Chicago, Minneapolis and the BayArea
7 -10years of relevant work experience
Provenleadership skills demonstrating strong judgment, problem-solving, anddecision-making abilities
Priorconsulting experienced preferred
Experiencemanaging senior-level client relationships
Experiencepresenting and communicating ideas to various audiences (technical andnon-technical)
xposureto any of the following competencies data management and architecture, cyber securityand/or advanced analytics
Experiencein architecting, implementing, or operating, one or more of these technologies:database administration (RDBMS, Hadoop,NoSQL), data governance (metadata management, lineage, reference data, businessglossary and taxonomy, stewardship), and data integration (e.g. MDM, ETL, SOA)
Hands-onexperience in analytical and data visualization tools and techniques
Experiencewith software development/engineering
Experiencemanaging staff and budgets for at least 2 years
