Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consultant in Chicago, IL and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You ll Do

Function as an integrator between business needs and technology solutions and help create technology solutions to meet clients business needs. Design, develop, and implement systems and processes to capture, integrate and distribute information in an enterprise. Gain exposure to multiple industries and service lines within the practice while demonstrating an awareness of the full breadth of services offered by engagement follow-up opportunities. Create business requirements documentation and requirements traceability matrices to map business requirements to technical specifications. Lead offshore teams in India to complete development and end-to-end testing of tools being implemented for clients. Communicate confidently with clients and interact with the cross-functional groups and multiple departments within clients organizations. Conduct user training to make clients familiar with new software tools being implemented and help them become comfortable with all the functionality of the tool. Collaborate with business technology analysts and consultants to conduct data profiling and understand data quality by querying databases using Structured Query Language (SQL) Server and Teradata and Talend data quality tools. Identify anomalies in data sets by using Tableau visualization to enable business functions to make informed decisions. Create data mappings to move data across databases using Informatica tools. Conduct workshops to train business users about the capabilities of new systems such as Lombard AgileReporter, and document user-guides to help follow processes. Assist project managers in defining the phases of health plans projects, Food and Drug Administration (FDA)-guided projects, and financial services projects while creating project plans using Smartsheets and Microsoft Project to enable achievements of deadlines and ownership of tasks. Analyze health plans products data compliance, regulatory reporting compliance, and creating submissions for the FDA Global Unique Device Identification (UDI) Database. Develop test scripts for user acceptance testing for new in-house systems and, coordinating issue tracking through JIRA to provide enhanced user experience. Utilize trends and diagnosing errors in centralized reporting portals while collaborating with Information Technology (IT) teams. Create requirements specifications, functional design, and business process documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Engineering (any), Computer Science, MIS, CIS or a related field.

  • One year of experience as a Consultant, a Business Technology Analyst, or a position in a related occupation.

  • Must have one year of experience with:

  • Collaborating with business technology analysts and consultants to conduct data profiling and understand data quality by querying databases using SQL Server and Teradata and Talend data quality tools;

  • Identifying anomalies in data sets by using Tableau visualization to enable business functions to make informed decisions;
