Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consultant in Chicago, IL and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.
Work You ll Do
Provide Human Resources (HR) transformation consulting services to clients. Reduce the costs of HR service delivery through improved processes and technologies. Work on comprehensive and complex Workday functional projects. Configure Workday system to meet each client s unique business requirements. Participate in various client meetings with business users and functional teams to understand the business requirements of clients. Work with clients to resolve defects and issues in production or testing environments. As part of an engagement team, provide technical assistance to resolve complicated business issues. Prepare technical fit-gap analysis and designs, process design, configuration, testing plans and project execution documents. Configure business processes for Human Capital Management (HCM) modules to best fit client requirements using Workday business process frameworks. Confer with clients to gather HCM system configuration requirements for Compensation management within Workday HCM modules. Identify suitable Workday-related business solutions and recommending best practices for improving functionality, with an emphasis on Workday Compensation. Support functional workstreams in the full development lifecycle of technology implementation process, which includes requirements gathering, requirements validation, defect triage and change requests. Create and design business process designs and flowcharts using Microsoft Visio. Perform unit testing, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing, and identify and resolve defects in testing and production environments within Workday HCM systems.
Bachelor s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), IT, Economics, Business Management or a related field.
One year of experience as a Consultant, a Business Analyst, or a related occupation.
Must have one year of experience with:
Configuring business processes for Human Capital Management (HCM) modules to best fit client requirements using Workday business process frameworks;
Conferring with clients to gather HCM system configuration requirements for Compensation management within Workday HCM modules;
Identifying suitable Workday-related business solutions and recommending best practices for improving functionality, with an emphasis on Workday Compensation;
Supporting functional workstreams in the full development lifecycle of technology implementation process, which includes requirements gathering, requirements validation, defect triage and change requests;
Creating and designing business process designs and flowcharts using Microsoft Visio;
Performing unit testing, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing, and identifying and resolving defects in testing and production environments within Workday HCM systems.
80% travel required.
