Allthird-party tools, operational enablers, and technologies used as acceleratorson tech enabled services projects must be reviewed to validate firm standardsare applied and that risks are understood and vetted. The firm TechnologyOperating Model (TOM) framework and process facilitates those reviews andprovides a mechanism for guidance. TheConsulting version of this process is known as Certified to Use (CtU). CtU isrequired for technologies that host client data, connect to Deloitte systems,and/or use 3rd party software and is managed by Innovation and Platforms(I&P). I&P is partnering withITS to optimize, enable, and scale the CtU program. The position is new and theCtU Leader will own management of the CtU program as well leading andimplementing program enhancements to drive efficiencies, scale, andtransparency.
Work You ll Do
The CtU program guides practitioners and teams through technologyrisk reviews and advisory processes necessary for third-party or custom-developednon-monetized technologies that contain and/or process Deloitte or client data. The CtU Lead collaborates with leaders acrossInnovation and Platforms, Risk, Infrastructure, Architecture, Security,Offering Portfolios, and others while owning and managing the full program. The CtU Lead is responsible for enablingtimely throughput of assets within the CtU program as well as improving theprogram by identifying, prioritizing, and leading changes that drive efficiencies.
The ideal candidate is an AVP with experience in CtS(Productization) and/or product management, has strong executive presence, excellentfacilitation/persuasive presentation skills, background in inspiring andsuccessfully leading virtual teams, experience developing programs/drivingprocess improvements, and successfully has operated a volume based program withcomplex repeatable processes.
This role will give the candidate a unique opportunity to workwith a wide array of Deloitte leadership while enhancing the Certify to Useprogram to operate efficiently and at scale.
Key responsibilities include:
Own and manage the CtU program:
Enable efficient and timely throughput of assets within the CtU program
Provide CtU program guidance and resolve escalated roadblocks/issues
Collaborate with leaders from cyber, infrastructure, architecture, and (as needed) other specialized areas of expertise across the firm to enable appropriate level of review for assets within the CtU program
Engage and educate I&ALs and the practice to align on CtU program scope and importance
Enable consistent, predicable, and transparent program experience for practitioners, technology teams, and network leadership
Develop and manage recurring detailed tactical status reporting to be used to manage the CtU Managers and (as needed) leadership
Develop and enable recurring leadership status reporting inclusive of budget and resource reporting
Ensure actual budget remains within expected budgeted spend and proactively manage expected variations
Balance throughput volumes with an appropriately staffed CtU Manager and PMO team across US and USI
Escalate appropriate risk related issues to senior leadership as applicable
Understand and be the SME of the nuances and details of the CtU program inclusive of inputs, activities, and outputs
Enable CtU efficiencies and transparency:
Garnering insights from domain SME s and CtU Managers, assess existing processes to maximize best practices and mitigate process inefficiencies across the CtU program
Set direction and priorities for program improvement initiatives based on ability to drive efficiencies, scalability, and transparency
Foster, support, and ensure collaboration across stakeholders to align and implement program improvements
Leadand support CtU team in development of improved process and program materials
Develop and manage the CtU team:
Directly manage CtU team and establish clear responsibilities to support efficient throughput balancing a push for duration reduction and risk mitigation
Mentor CtU Managers and model behavior of prioritization, connecting the dots, crisp and succinct communication, understanding the details, accuracy of the details, and exposing audiences to relevant level of detail
Prioritize team workload and manage leadership expectations of throughput and program improvement projects
Empower staff to have ownership and accountability of assets throughout the end to end CtU process, understand the process, and value understanding the details and proactively thinking ahead to anticipate and resolve issues
Coach staff to enhance both hard and soft skills, working toward clearly defined professional and project-based goals
Develop a high performing team that models a culture of asking questions, respect, seeking ways to improve the program, collaboration, positive energy, prioritization, and a culture of supporting each others workloads
Ensure team is diverse, models an inclusive environment, and values well being
