Work You ll Do

Identify and apply relevant specialized technical accounting, regulatory standards, cost accounting concepts, financial close and Consolidation/Financial reporting, financial operations and applications across multiple industries; identify client issues and liaise with client contacts in day-to-day relationships; generate innovative ideas to challenge the status quo; participate in engagement planning and budgeting; define the work product structure and content; participate in monitoring engagement economics, engagement risk, and engagement timeline; and contribute to the proposal development process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's (or higher) degree in accounting, finance, economics, business administration, or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent).

  • Eighteen months of accounting and corporate finance experience.

  • Experience must include eighteen months of:

  • Assisting and advising clients with implementation of IFRS 16 and ASC 842;

  • Evaluating audit approaches and liaising with external auditors;

  • Assisting with the implementation of new lease accounting software and solutions;

  • Assisting with project management, including preparation of status updates;

  • Liaising with client contacts and personnel with supervision from senior members of engagement team;

  • Mentoring and coaching junior team members and reviewing their work;

  • Utilizing advanced Excel tools, including pivot tables, macros, and lookup functions; and

  • Preparing key project deliverables.

  • Position requires approximately 80% travel.
