Deloitte Sr. Programmer Analyst in Charlotte, North Carolina

Work you'll do/Responsibilities

• Consult with management and relevant stakeholders to define project goals and objectives.

• Research, develop and implement data-gathering, collection, and consolidation methods.

• Analyze and synthesize data for trends and patterns.

• Document functional specifications and assist with development to Extract, Transform and Load data into Datawarehouse/BI engines.

• Collaborate with coworkers and management to implement improvements.

• Evaluate the effectiveness of implemented data collection and data analytics strategies.

Our Core Technology Operations (CTO) team offers differentiated operate services for our clients with solutions to help organizations scale and optimize critical business operations, drive speed to outcome, deliver business transformation, and build resilience in an uncertain future.

Our operate services within CTO include:

• Foundry Services: Operate services providing flexible, recurring resource capacity for client initiatives, projects, tasks, and enhancement

• Managed Services: Operate services that provide ongoing maintenance, monitoring, and optimization for IT/Engineering applications & products

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree preferably in Computer Science, Information technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline or equivalent experience

  • Strong analytical skills and technical acumen. Ability to decompose high-level information into details on the one hand and abstract up from low-level information on the other hand

  • Strong experience working through end-to-end Application development Lifecyle with BI and ETL tools such as Informatica, Tableau

  • Strong ability to query and perform data analysis using SQL and similar technologies

  • A minimum of 4 years of exposure in agile software environments

  • Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of people, including executives, managers, end users, business customers, technical architects, developers, designers, PMO/program managers, and subject matter experts

  • Experience and competency with both agile and waterfall methods

  • Experience with different project management, reporting, user story, defect management and tools such as Rally, Microsoft Project, MS Office, SharePoint, Visio, HP Quality Center, Jira, Box

  • Capable of prioritizing tasks while achieving strict deadlines

  • Experience working for large organizations, large programs, and cross-organizational initiatives

  • Experience working with PMO processes and reporting

  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available

    Preferred

  • Experience with Financial Services Cloud preferred

  • Working knowledge in building customer facing, web-based user interfaces for customer and partner communities, with an understanding of HTML/XHTML, XML, Java, JavaScript, CSS, SQL, SOAP based or RESTful web services, content management

  • Working knowledge in Salesforce functions required: Data Loader, Sites, Security, Connected Apps, Single-Sign On, JASON Web Token Authentication

  • Background in Financial Services preferred
