Work you ll do
The Solution Engineer (SE) is a critical member of the sales team, working in partnership with the other members of the organization to demonstrate the value of MS&P solutions to customers and prospects. The SE will demonstrate and present various Company application offerings from a technology perspective, with a focus on matching the various solution components to the needs of our customers.
Key responsibilities-You should possess an understanding of the highly complex contracting strategies that Pharmaceutical (Branded and Generic) and Biotechnology manufacturers engage in for product growth and to expand market share. Ideally this understanding is a result of hands on experience via work at either a pharmaceutical manufacturer or direct involvement with selling activities to these customers. Key responsibilities include:
Support sales opportunities by positioning Company s solutions by understanding the customer s business processes, identifying pain points, and proving value opportunities
Developing in-depth knowledge of the Company product solutions and creating effective demonstrations and supporting sales materials to prove their value
Present and lead Company technical vision presentations at Industry Events, Focus Groups, and Company Conferences
Articulate our current technology infrastructure as well as our future technology direction
Function as a liaison between the client and prospect base and the product management organization to ensure the needs of those groups are incorporated into the future product direction

3 years in a software pre-sales, product management, or business analyst role (or relevant client experience) with hands-on experience working with enterprise software products
An understanding of corporate contracting process in any or all of the following phases:
Pre-contract (contract request, initiation, offer development)
Contract compliance (authoring, internal review, negotiations)
Post-contract (execution and administration, pricing adjudication and settlement, contract compliance for commercial contracts, price calculation, reporting and auditing for government programs)
Experience in the Life Sciences vertical is a plus, with an understanding of Life Sciences Contract Management, Managed Care, Chargebacks, Government Compliance, Federal Program Administration, or other Commercial Revenue Management business processes
Outstanding verbal, written and visual communication skills
Experience with enterprise scale applications such as ERP, CRM, Supply Chain, or Contract Management
Ability to document prospect s functional requirements and known product gaps for post sales implementation teams
High energy team player with a positive attitude who can work as part of a team, as well as individually to drive results
Bachelors or Masters degree in Business, Computer Science or Engineering, or related field
Willingness to travel as the job requires
