Senior Manager, Product Manager Hosting
Location: Hermitage, TN

Work you’ll do
As a Senior Product Manager, you will be accountable and responsible for the end-to-end delivery of application technology solutions in line with strategic business objectives. You will ensure that the business needs are clearly understood, and the technology implemented meets the needs and expectations of the business. In this role, you will provide consultation directly to Technology & Infrastructure Hosting leadership and clients related to solution options and vendor product selection. In addition, you will work with leadership to budget and prioritize planned and unplanned development and maintenance project engagements.
In this role, you will work with the different hosting teams globally to develop high level understanding of scope and feasibility of technical solutions. You will lead product planning, delivery, release management, and deployment to ensure technology standards and business needs are met.
Working with clients and leadership to develop a strategy for execution of product roadmaps.
Integrating the business strategy and knowledge of software capabilities (current and future) into vision and direction for all channel-related products.
Leading all design/development aspects for Hosting Services projects, to include project execution, resource deployment, and overall leadership and coordination efforts.
Collaborating with leadership to prepare overall project schedule, milestones, tasks, and estimates.
Participating in technology/solution decisions with architecture and product teams for projects, to include ensuring that technical design, unit testing, deployment, and implementation requirements are properly documented.
Collaborating with hosting teams to analyze business and functional requirements that have an impact on business applications.
Leading offshore resources, to optimize the mix of the development resources.

The Technology and Infrastructure Organization works together to transform how ITS deploys technologies and services that meet the dynamic needs of Deloitte professionals and help increase their productivity.
Office of Technology & Infrastructure
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or equivalent educational or professional experience and/or qualifications. An advanced degree is also preferred.
Minimum of 10 years working in product management (preferably as a product manager, owner), or 5 years as a member of an agile development team
5 or more years of experience working within a Lean-agile software product development method, such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe
At least 7 years of defining and documenting product requirements into small, well-articulated, and valuable deliverables
Technical experience and strong understanding of both public and private cloud.
Lead the scrum team’s priorities in PI planning, sprint planning, and other agile ceremonies; working in collaboration with product managers, experience design, & a variety of technology partners
Align with product managers to clearly articulate product strategy to the scrum team
Comfortable challenging requirements to ensure we are delivering what is best for the client and business
Excellent verbal and written skills are critical since this job primarily entails communicating technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
Experience leading Agile/Scrum projects.
Experience working directly with clients, executive leadership and providing consultation.
Ability to understand and relate to the business objectives and provide a high-quality automated solution.
Solid project management and team leadership skills.
Experience in implementing quality guidelines, standards and procedures.
Ability to travel minimally required, up to 50%. (While travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice.)
Certified SAFe® Product Owner/Product Manager (or equivalent)
Experience working in a SAFe environment with demonstrated competency of delivery against objectives
Certified in any of the public cloud domains
