Senior Manager: Supply Chain & Network Operations (Enterprise Ops) / MES focus

What We Need

Deloitte s Enterprise Ops Practice seeks a Senior Manager to join our team and focus on client sales and delivery activities within the MES space.

Work you ll do

Consulting - Sr. Manager:

Senior Managers are expected to contribute to the firm's growth and development in a variety of ways, including:

Engagement Management: Directly contribute to the leadership, growth and development of Deloitte s Manufacturing Execution System (MES) offering; lead engagement planning and budgeting; mobilize and manage engagement teams; define deliverable structure and content; facilitate buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels at the client; direct on-time, quality delivery of work products; manage engagement economics; manage engagement risk

Client Management: Manage day to day interactions with executive clients and sponsors

Business Development: Develop and maintain contact with top decision makers at key clients; organize and lead pursuit teams; participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process; contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies

Practice Development & Eminence: Develop practical solutions and methodologies; develop "thoughtware" and "point- of-view" documents; participate in public speaking events; get published in industry periodicals

People Development: Perform role of counselor and coach; provide input and guidance into the staffing process; actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities; provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices

Supply Chain Networks

Our Supply Chain Networks team helps clients transform their value chains into competitive advantages. We drive efficiency, improve flexibility, and increase responsiveness through proactive insights and decision-making. We advise, implement, and operate transformational solutions that bring world-class supply network and operational capabilities to our clients. We provide operational know-how, digital technologies, advanced analytics, and industry-specific hybrid solutions to deliver unprecedented client value. Additionally, we improve operations, product, and material flow across the breadth of the value chain and create greater supply network synergy and value through M&A events.

Qualifications

A minimum of 8-10 years consulting and/or industry experience is required, with the ability to travel up to 80-100%.

8-10 years of manufacturing operations management technical architecture and design leadership roles

Understanding of plant automation technology landscape from (ISA 95 L1 to L3 systems), leading solution providers and industry trends

Experience leading large cross-functional teams and individuals in a management role

In touch with industry 4.0 trends, with emerging digital supply networks and exponential technologies, with industry automation tools and where the market and technology are pointing

Experience in leading global MES implementations across discrete and process manufacturing clients

A minimum of three years of experience in leading project teams between 35-100 technical practitioners including project P&L

A minimum of five years in driving end to end sales (pursuits), from RFI & RFP development, leading orals and closing opportunities

Experience working with leading manufacturing execution systems platforms from e.g. Siemens, Rockwell Automation, Honeywell, Invensys etc.,

In addition, successful Senior Managers will also have the following preferred skills:

The ability to work independently, as well as manage small to mid-size engagements and/or parts of large engagements and their resources.

Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation and documentation skills (Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, etc).

Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment.

Bachelor s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Industrial Engineering and an advance degree in management is preferred.
