Work you ll do

Our Infrastructure team focuses primarily on building and supporting the IT infrastructure required for hosting solutions for our clients.

As a valued member of this team, you ll create and maintain solutions supported by our IT Infrastructure team to ensure that the solutions are properly monitored, maintained, and secured to Deloitte Digital s standards. You ll collaborate with other Cloud team members in order to achieve team objectives.

You ll be accountable for ensuring identified infrastructure incidents and issues are addressed within defined SLAs. You ll also contribute to the process of creating and updating operational processes that US and India-based staff will follow in supporting our infrastructure.

Day-to-day, your responsibilities will include the following:

  • Create, audit, monitor and manage incident tickets for:

  • Data enhancement

  • SFTP (receive files)/MFT (ship files)

  • Support for Legacy hardware (physical asset management)

  • Support tools that enable DB monitoring (DB team does actual monitoring)

  • Perform access management for enhancements (e.g. network, OS)

  • Perform DR testing, performance testing, and problem management

  • Perform shared data services maintenance and monitoring

  • Perform connection troubleshooting for client/internal users

  • Perform building, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of infrastructure solutions

  • Work on assigned issues of the appropriate level

  • Follow SDLC when developing configuration management recipes

  • Interact with both clients and practitioners for both solution engineering and issue resolution

  • Demonstrate a strong inclination to automate processes

  • Develop documentation where required

  • Act as point of escalation for incident management process

  • Handle on-call during off-peak hours to respond to support service issues

  • Liaison with other Deloitte technical teams to accomplish objectives

Qualifications

Required:

  • 5 years of supporting server environments

  • 2 years of supporting Cloud production environments

  • 1 years of designing, implementing, and maintain environments with configuration management

  • Knowledgeable in supporting both Windows and Linux environments, scripting, networking concepts, and automation implementations

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

  • Ability to problem solve, resolve conflicts, attend to details, and execute.

Additional beneficial skills:

  • Professional certifications (systems administration, networking, cloud, etc.)

  • Knowledge of administering database systems is a plus

  • Knowledge of Splunk, Atlassian products, Chef, Python, C#, Powershell, Restful APIs
