We advise, implement and deliver as-a-service solutions, helping our clients develop strategies and capabilities to support enterprise-wide decision-making, improve finance operations, and create impact within their organization.
Work You'll Do
A Senior Manager at Deloitte is expected to contribute to the firm's growth and development in a variety of ways, including:
Engagement Management : Lead engagement planning and budgeting; mobilize and manage engagement teams; define deliverable structure and content; facilitate buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels at the client; direct on-time, quality delivery of work products; manage engagement economics; manage engagement risk
Client Management : Manage day to day interactions with executive clients and sponsors
Business Development : Develop and maintain contact with top decision makers at key clients; organize and lead pursuit teams; participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process; contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies
Practice Development & Eminence : Develop practical solutions and methodologies; develop "thoughtware" and "point-of-view" documents; participate in public speaking events; get published in industry periodicals
People Development : Perform role of counselor and coach; provide input and guidance into the staffing process; actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities; provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices
Bachelor s degree from accredited university with strong undergraduate academic record
Expertise in Finance Service Delivery, Finance Operations, FP&A, Finance Strategy, or EPM
8 years of professional experience in a consulting setting
A minimum of 8-10 years experience working in or consulting to Aerospace & Defense, Industrial Products and/or Construction clients.
Experience leading or managing teams and change initiatives (especially in a project management role)
Experience with budgetary responsibilities related to projects or resources
Professional competence in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
Superior critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Exceptional interpersonal, team-building, and communication skills
Ability to build consensus and foster change in ambiguous settings
Willingness and ability to travel 80%
Must live within commuting distance to one of Deloitte s consulting offices
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Experience in Digital Finance: CFO Analytics, Finance Cloud, SAP S4 Hana, Blockchain, and/or Robotics Process Automation
Advanced degree in business (e.g., MBA) from a top tier program
